Off the beaten path but important slice of modern Curonian history
I only ended up visiting as I was already walking in the area, but found this a fascinating and saddening part of the history of the Curonian Spit.

Cute burial ground
I would not make a journey just to see this, but if you are in Nida, by all means go for a walk there. All the wooden crosses - and a recent burial place as well - make for a nice visit. It's a shame ...

The cemetery impresses with its wooden panels and crosses that show remains of Pagan symbols. Besides that, the cemetery is also part of the German heritage of Nida.
