小さいけど、しっかり縄文時代を学べます

世界ではピラミッドなどが作られようとしていた時代に、日本で１万年も続いた縄文時代は争いも無く平和で、自然と調和した幸せな暮らしをしていたらしい、ということが出土品から判ると同時に、縄文土器が年代と共に移り変わることも知りました。また晴れていれば正面に見える浅間山の噴火で飢饉になった当時の資料や自然についての展示コーナーもあり、この地方の特徴についても理解を深められます。
