車のない私は、どうすればここへ行けるだろうかと思案していたら、岩手旅行社のバスツアーを発見しました。釜石駅前発ですが、私は鵜住居まで三陸鉄道で行き、そこでいのちをつなぐ未来館を見学してから乗りました。ガイドさんが説明してくれるので、鉄鉱山の背景や裏話まで、ネットには載っていないことまで聞けました。同時に、ここがなぜ世界遺産になったかもよく理解できました。
