The view from the top is the best.

Arrived at Nishikinsago Shrine. I climbed the stairs to the hall of worship. Then I climbed the stone steps to the main shrine. I climbed a lot of mountain roads to the main shrine. I will climb quite a bit. The main shrine is on the top of the mountain and the scenery is the best. The deities are Omiki no Mikoto, Kunitsune no Mikoto and Shohikona no Mikoto. It is said that in 806, a Tendai monk, Hoju Shonin, built a shrine and set up an altar to solicit and worship the spirits of Hiyoshi Shrine on Mt. Hiei in Omi province.

    Great view

I went with a couple of mature friends. If you drive up the steep mountain road for about 10 minutes, you will find a shrine, and from there you will find a steep staircase for about 20 minutes, and there is a main shrine and a viewing platform at the top of the mountain. It was a warm day with sunny days, so I was saved because my feet did not slip. The smartphone pedometer indicated that it would go up to the 14th floor. On the way back, I ate delicious tempura soba at Kanesan. It was fun.

Hard mountain road like a mountain castle. But there is a reward view at the top of the mountain! !!

What a fun road. You can see various interesting stone statues along the road leading to this shrine. At first I was just looking at it, but it became more and more fun and I stopped and looked at it every time. While doing so, I arrived at the torii gate at the entrance of Nishikinsago Shrine. You can see a narrow roadway and a parking lot beside the torii gate. Should I park here and walk, or should I take the courage to proceed? It was getting a little dim ...

    I feel the power!

    Original Text

If you climb the stairs in the mountainous precincts step by step while sweating, you will reach the hall of worship and the main shrine. And beyond that, there is a spectacular view! I feel that I have been purified both physically and mentally by getting the energy of mountains and trees 々 (^_^) It's slippery, so I think you should be careful with your footwear when you go.
