    A lively and picturesque square

    The triangular shape of the square gives it a special character. It is lined with nice shops and fine restaurants (although the best are found elsewhere)

    Not too much to see but start of a great walking loop

    Square with lots of shops and bars, a bit of a tourist trap but nice to walk around. It is also where the tourist information is and the start of the 'Slow Road' walking loop is, which goes from greve...

    Nice centerpoint

    This is the main square with lots of shops, bars and restaurants. A pity they do not make it completely pedestrian….

    Especially in the evening a great experience

    We have been at Piazza Matteotti several times now and we keep coming back. We love it's historical feel, the possibility to taste local products and the lights in the evening.
