    Old Armenian House owned by the Karamonookian Family.

    According to what the granddaughter of the original owner has told me, the rugs seems to be the original rugs that were in the house. However she could not be sure as she has not seen them up front.

    How the rich lived in turkey !

    This is a house that has become a museum showing how well teh middle/upper classes lived in the 19th Century. Lovely museum. Star Exhibit a ratty old motorbike that belonged to Lawrence of Arabia.
