    Nice Park-Great Views

    This was a great spot for views across to the entrance to Port Stephens and north and south. There were whales down the coast but not sighted here. Park signage is poor (unreadable or gone altogether...

    Views & whales if you are lucky

    This is a nice little park with great views of the entrance to Port Stephens. Unfortunately on the day we visited there were no whales to see

    What a magnificent view!

    A well kept secret maintained by a group of volunteers! It has picnic tables, bbq, toilets and a viewing platform purpose built to watch the whales as they migrate. Well done men and ladies!

    A lot going for it

    Barry Park has is it. A little remote to make it more exclusive, but accessible by car. Public amenities, BBQ's, structured walks and a lookout that would be fabulous for whale watching Definately ...

    We went to Barry park 3 times as it was a great place for a barbie and watch the whales go by. Not too many other parks have bbqs.
