So glad it is still there!
I am so glad that this monument is still there. If people would read their history, the war wasn't only about slavery. As another traveler said, educate people instead of hiding the past.

I think seeing and discussing the past beats covering it up and ignoring it any day. How do we learn and educate by hiding everything someone objects to?
