Beautiful place to visit.
Beautiful place friendly staff but really need to include photographers in the design of their blinds. Not conducive for real wildlife photographers.

Most every part of the refuge is closed until October 2022 ish.
Most every part of the refuge is closed until October 2022 ish. We showed up only to find everything closed. They decided to close right before our trip.

Outstanding location to view wintering Sandhill Cranes. 8,000 had been counted during our visit. 9 Whooping Cranes were a bonus, as were many White-fronted Geese. One Ross's Goose made an appearanc...
