Not spectacular
As is most forts, this one is not friendly for mobility challenged individuals. The fort is very much like all Civil War forts. Basically, if you've seen one, you have pretty much covered them all. ...

The views are breathtaking
We enjoyed the self guided tour of the fort. They had a lot to explore. Wear good sturdy shoes. Also it can get very windy, but it is worth it
