Cool Transitional Overlook

The Homestead Overlook provides a view of the transition from the badlands erosional landscape to the green prairie lands to the south. I highly recommend a stop.

Nice Overlook on the Badlands Loop Road

I would recommend stopping at all the overlooks along the Badlands Loop Road but if you are short on time, I found other stops more interesting than this overlook.

Prairie + Cliff

The Homestead Overlook is beautiful, and breathtaking in a different sort of way than some of the other overlooks. Imagine walking along the prairie and then coming to a massive cliff!
