This is just a square. Having the WW II monument here makes it . little special and worthwhile a visit. Otherwise you would just crossed it like any square

Nice square with a very interesting sculpture in the middle of it. Nice place to relax and enjoy very peacefull atmosphere.

Central Square

Nothing to go crazy over. I stood in Maribor for a month during and exchange and just went through this square several times. The architech is interesting

Monument is better than square

Lacking activity

It used to be Maribor's main square but has now lost this title. It lacks activity except in the winter when there is an ice skating ring installed.
