It was okay. Price was still cheap, even during the holiday. First thing, if you want to find a reception of the hotel, you go to the given location, then look at the building to your right with the KFC and on the second floor, you can find the office / reception. You can climb up the stairs from behind the building. The stairs from the pedestrian street, not from the road. Then they will give you the location and the code of your room. The apartments are in the nearby buildings, 10 minutes walk from the reception. So the location of the hotel given here on trip.com is just the reception, the apartments are not exactly on the lake. Apartment was really nice, everything was clean. The bathroom is huge, it has a nice big shower. Beds were wide and soft. Balcony is also nice. You will have a problem if you are a light sleeper, since the main door of the apartment is not thick. There is a 1cm gap between the floor and the door, also on the sides. So all the noise in the hall is literally in your room. During this holiday a lot of families with kids were staying in the same building, so noises and cooking smells were all around. But I must say, inside the room everything was tidy and good.

I went to check in very early, the evaluation is late, the space is large, Chinese decoration, a lot of houses, suitable for multi-person group travel, barbecue k songs, etc., not bad, but what we provide is not the pick-up villa, it is another building, slightly worse than the comfort of the previous one

As a photographer, choosing Meilin Lake Royal Villa was purely a case of 'paying for the shot'! The villa faces the Ferris wheel and lake, and at 7 AM during 'blue hour,' the misty lake with the Ferris wheel's silhouette felt incredibly cinematic. By 3 PM, the sunlight streamed into the room, creating perfect light and shadow with the floor-to-ceiling windows and white sheer curtains – absolutely amazing for portraits! When the butler learned I was there for photography, they proactively suggested, 'The wisteria trellis in the backyard has the best light at 4 PM, and you can borrow a reflector by the pool.' They even helped me move tables and chairs to the optimal shooting spot. The vintage desk lamp and rattan furniture in the room instantly gave everything an Instagrammable vibe. Even the bathroom mirror is anti-fog, so no worries about steam blurring the lens during a bathroom photoshoot. Most importantly, it was a comfortable stay. While I was editing photos at night, the butler brought hot milk and said, 'Don't stay up too late.' Details like that make a perfectionist ecstatic! For future lake-view client shoots, this will definitely be my top choice for a 'model villa'!

What an amazing place with amazing staff who made the experience that much better. The rooms were everything we could ask for, modern and very clean with great amenities. The private hot spring alone is absolutely worth visiting too. The surrounding area is beautiful too with lots to see and do but would definitely need to rent a car as some things are far away. The staff were incredible in every way. Before our stay I asked one of the staff members called Min if she could order flowers for a special occasion and she did so without hesitation and placed them in the room upon our arrival.She was so helpful and kind throughout the whole stay, telling us the best places to visit and restaurant to go out. She even went as far as helping us order dinner at the local restaurant when we were struggling too due to our lack of speaking Chinese. The breakfast was also delicious as well and the coffee shop where it is served has great coffee and lovely pastries. I couldn’t recommend this place more for a nice weekend away in nature.

The environment can be lining the facilities can be more than I imagined can not be too dilapidated except for the surroundings a bit remote except roughly good bed than I imagined cleaner and butler handsome service really good ask his things basically immediately reply here to praise his service 

It wasn't very crowded during our visit, likely due to an approaching typhoon. My child and I had a great time jet-skiing, though the seafood we had for several meals was just average. The guesthouse lobby boasts a modern design. While the room itself isn't huge, its layout and views are exceptional, offering breathtaking sea views. It also features a large bathtub, a separate toilet and shower, and two washbasins, showing great attention to detail. Crucially, the price was also very reasonable. It's definitely a worthwhile place to relax and unwind. After checking in, the front desk staff escorted us to our room and provided excellent recommendations for local food and activities. The service was impeccable. Highly recommended!

The villa is very close to Gulong Gorge, the villa has a beautiful environment, there are restaurants and supermarkets in the community, it is more convenient, and the stay experience is very good! Next time a friend recommends this.

I really like the big sea view. It's cost-effective and has a high floor. It's the best room I have when I come to Shuangyue Bay and Tongliao Bay every year. It's fully equipped and luxuriously decorated in a modern style that I like. There's also a kid's room big enough for two people under 5 years old. The big island is my favorite. It is fully equipped with kitchen utensils, refrigerators, and steam ovens. It is close to the market and we can buy seafood and cook it ourselves. This saves money and allows us to eat the seafood we want😍 It also feels like home, highly recommended

The villa offers great value for money and ample space for a comfortable stay. However, there is room for improvement in terms of maintenance. The host was responsive, which contributed to a pleasant experience for our group, especially with kids. The highlight for the children was the swimming pool, providing them with hours of enjoyment.

We are gp of 7 from Macau. We encountered a lot of problems such as water leakage, out of electricity and water. We reported to the helpers and they responded quickly, even at late nights. They did a lot but the problems kept going on and things were not dealt until the rain went down. The facility is just ok and not quite worth of the price but we appreciate the quick response. For above, we already told the helpers and they said they will report to the company. 我們是來自澳門的7個朋友，我們遇到了很多問題，像是漏水、斷電、斷水。我們向服務人員反映情況，他們迅速回應，甚至在深夜也是如此。他們做了很多工作，但問題一直持續，直到雨停後才解決。 這個villa一般，而且不太值這個價，但我們非常感謝他們的快速回應。 關於以上問題，我們已經告知服務人員，他們表示會向公司反映。
