Small, but perfectly laid out rooms, and exactly like the pictures, so no surprises.
I was travelling solo, and only in the room to rest; with space for one suitcase under the bed, it was absolutely fine, but a larger couple might struggle, as unless one was sat completely on the bed, you would be in each others way getting ready.
An easy walk to the metro, and old town. Bus stops almost directly outside; a small 7/11, and larger supermarket within a block; a good variety of local places to eat within two blocks; and lots more options, within a short walk.
While there was no breakfast (exactly as advertised), there was a basement room, with a large shared fridge (write your room number and date on the carrier bag), water filter (hot & cold), microwave and tables & chairs, so if you wanted to get breakfast from the local bakery, or takeaway for dinner, you don’t have to sit in your room and eat it.
The road outside is busy enough during the day, that I was aware of traffic noise when I woke up, however my room was on that side of the building. For me it was fine, I had, but didn’t need my earplugs, however a lighter sleeper, wanting to sleep in, might find it a little noisy. At night it was fine.
I didn’t have a lot of interaction with the staff, but found them helpful and efficient at checkin, checkout and when I returned later that day to collect my luggage.
I stayed 3 nights for 141.65 GBP (Jan-26), and at that price, in this location, I’d book again.
The hotel has a great location, making it very convenient to get around. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to help. The room was comfortable and well-kept, which made the stay very relaxing. Overall, a wonderful experience — highly recommended!
We had a wonderful stay at Grande Hotel Macao. Everything was excellent from start to finish. The location is very convenient, making it easy to explore the city. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained.
The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient. Overlall, the service, facilities, and overall were truly satisfying. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Macau. We would definitely stay here again.
It is my first time to book through trip.com and i will rate 5 star for our trip.Happy Family Hotel or Hotel Familia Feliz is in good location, walking distance to Ruins of St Paul, Cathedral of the Nativity of our Lady, St Dominic etc…. As well to senado square to Casino’s it is at the back of Lisboa Casino Hotel very accessible to buses, the room is small but it is very clean, the front desk is english speaking, they are filipino even chinese front desk can speak english they have wifi and some complimentary water, you can make your coffee they provide electric kettle in every room, what i really like is the elevator, it can wait long time even with out pressing the button, plus the staff or fronk desk very polite and approachable, Mr Sraul filipino front desk even help us to get taxi outside, when we go back to Macau airport,we check out early and left our luggage at the front desk during our last day, since our flight is 19:00 Pm we got back around past 15:00 Pm,i recommend this Hotel to those who want cheaper hotel ,more power to Hotel Familia Feliz hope we can go back soon i will bring my family
Had a great experience staying at City Inn Macau! The room was clean, big and I did not expect the complete amenities from toiletries, slippers, free water, coffee and tea. The room has a smart TV and an automated curtain which is really a plus. I had a good sleep no hearing noises from the adjacent rooms. The shower area is separated so the water will not overflow with the toilet area, this is something I valued. Water pressure is good with consistent hot water. I got an early check in at 11am and I left my luggage after check out without additional charge too! The 2 receptionists I encounter are both nice and welcoming. I have already recommend this to my friends and I am sure I will come back.

AAnonymous UserThe room was great, exceptionally clean and hygienic. The front desk lady was very nice, providing excellent and enthusiastic service. The space was large and very comfortable to sleep in. Plus, it had a window for ventilation, which is great for air quality, as many hotels in Macau don't have windows. Late check-out was also a plus. There's a restaurant downstairs and even a massage place. It was absolutely fantastic! 👍👍👍
AAnonymous UserThe location is super convenient! Right outside, you'll find the Ruins of St. Paul's, and walking a bit further brings you towards Grand Lisboa and Wynn. There are tons of pharmacies, supermarkets, and restaurants on the street. Plus, there are bus stops that can take you to both the old and new parts of the city.
CChubby Girl On TourThe room is compact and comfortable, featuring a cozy bed and a tiny bathroom. The room is equipped with helpful amenities, including a hairdryer, adapter, TV, kettle, and several cloth hangers. The air conditioning works effectively and keeps the room quite cold, and there is space between the bed and TV for a medium suitcase.
The reception is conveniently located on the second floor, where guests can access a microwave and drinking water, as well as bathroom amenities. The hotel’s prime location is a significant advantage, just a 5-minute walk from the bus stop, allowing easy travel around Macau. For those arriving from the airport, the MT4 Bus to PONTE 16 followed by a short 10-minute walk to the hotel is very straightforward. Additionally, there are plenty of restaurants along the street and a large supermarket nearby, enhancing the overall convenience of the stay.
AAnonymous UserThis is my second time staying at this hotel. It's right next to the Lower Market and very close to the bus stop, making it convenient to get anywhere. The front desk requires a 100 deposit, and they accept RMB, HKD, or MOP. The decor is relatively new, and the cleanliness is good. I'll consider staying here again next time I'm in Macau.
KKatarzyna LThe hotel is located right in the center of the old town, which makes it very convenient—most attractions are within walking distance. The view from the room overlooking the city is definitely a nice bonus.
The staff speak English and are very helpful, which made the stay much smoother. There’s also a free luggage storage option, so you can easily leave your bags after check-out without any hassle.
That said, the hotel itself feels a bit outdated and doesn’t fully match the photos in terms of quality. However, we chose one of the cheapest options in Macau for a weekend stay, so we weren’t expecting anything luxurious. Overall, it’s a practical choice if location matters more than comfort.
AAnonymous UserThe room was very clean, and they provided disposable bedding and towels, contrary to some reviews claiming there were no towels. The price before the May Day holiday was really good. It's a bit of a walk to Senado Square, but there's a bus stop not far from the entrance, making it convenient to get to other major hotels and Senado Square. There's a restaurant right next door downstairs, and their Yangzhou fried rice is pretty good. If the hotel offers good prices in the future, I'd definitely choose this place again.
AAnonymous UserThis hotel is so underrated!! This is a 100/10!!! We really loved this hotel, it is too bad we just stayed here for 2 nights as I really loved the place here. It is just 3mins walk away from Ruins of St. Pauls, and there are a lot of stores there — like stores where you can buy pasalubongs such as the famous peanut cookies, egg tarts and such… There are also luxury stores, uni qlo, pop mart, cosmetics stores, pharmacies, bakeries, restaurants and many more… Basically everything you need is just reachable…
We were actually from HongKong prior to staying at Macau for 2 nights and we rode a bus going here to I Fu Hotel and it was so convenient since the hotel is just like 30 steps away from that bus stop!
The rooms were veryyyy niceeee too, the room space were really maximize and designed very well! It is very clean too! The receptionist is very accommodating, helpful, knows how to communicate with us! There is free wi-fi, mini bar and complimentary water — where you can ask for one everyday! Our only problem here was that we were shocked of the deposit fee that was asked to us, it was 2000MOP around 16,000 pesos (500MOP per room), and it we were not prepared since we only withdrew 2000MOP for our transpo and such since we’ll use card… But it’s understandable since they really make sure that you don’t violate the rules like no smoking…
Also as a family of 10, all our 4 rooms were just nearby which made it more efficient.
Overall I would really comeback here!!
GGaya MI stayed here for 3 nights; location is great close to bus stops and downtown area. The rooms are clean. However, the service here isn’t what you might read in the previous reviews. I changed my double room to a single one the last night and, there was no hot water the whole, in the beginning I didn’t understand when I just got in, only at night when I wanted to take shower I found it out. You know what I was told- please boil the kettle so you can take a shower on the phone because something in the basement is broken and I wasn’t notified beforehand of it when I moved in.
DDaizhuonaiyouzhudaochuwanThe front desk staff were excellent, especially the two handsome guys and beautiful ladies who proactively offered us breakfast. GreenYou is truly a bargain during the off-season. For the same price, definitely don't choose the Victoria Hotel across the street – that place is like the Eight Immortals Restaurant, with many guests dying there in recent years. Friends staying near the Border Gate, please be aware!
KKaikai10Although the room was small, it was well-arranged and efficiently utilized, so it didn't feel cramped at all. The shower room also felt spacious enough. Everything was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The surrounding area is also quite nice, but the main selling point is the superb location – it's just a 5-minute walk to the Inner Harbour Ferry Terminal and Senado Square, which is incredibly convenient. The staff were also absolutely top-notch. The value for money is excellent, and I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Macau.
