Gerelateerde informatie:A fire at a building near Glasgow Central station resulted in the decision to close the station. Services are expected to resume from the Glasgow Central lower level this morning, Wednesday, March 11. However, the Glasgow Central upper level station will not reopen this week. Please check back later this morning for further updates regarding services to and from Glasgow Central. Additional information: Network Rail has published a detailed update regarding Glasgow Central on their website. Avanti West Coast customer advice: Glasgow Central upper level platforms (where Avanti West Coast trains operate) remain closed due to the impact of the nearby fire. Starting the morning of Wednesday, March 11, the Glasgow Central lower level platforms are expected to reopen, and ScotRail services will operate from there. With no trains able to run to/from the Glasgow Central upper level, Avanti West Coast trains will originate and end at Motherwell, which you can reach using ScotRail services from the Glasgow Central lower level or nearby stations. The majority of trains between Scotland and London are operating normally to/from Motherwell and Edinburgh. Other routes (Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, North Wales) are unaffected.
