Very good choice for late night arrival at HEL. Free transport from the airport is included in price. Comfortable bed, good breakfast, helpfull staff at the reception, especially when this is your first time in Helsinki. Late check out, at 12:00, so you definetely have plenty of time to rest after your flight.

Good value art deco hotel for a three night stay. Exceptional breakfast. Not very helpful pre advice about location. So… If you are coming from Helsinki port (eg ferry from Tallinn), get the tram 7T to Kaisaniemenpuisto. Then a short walk to the hotel. Tap and pay at the ticket machine for €3.20 one way, zone AB. From Helsinki airport, get the train to Helsinki main train station, 33 mins, tap and go, zone ABC. To get there walk down the road for 7 to 10 mins; contemplate some cobbled streets when wheeling luggage, but not an issue.  NB Helsinki Kampii is the main BUS/COACH terminal that you may use to go to Porvoo for a wonderful daytrip; a bit more of a walk from the Arthur Hotel ( use Google maps). Not to be confused with the Art Deco train station. All are walkable.  Finally, a visit to Suomenlinna (zone AB tap & go) is recommended along with Senate Square/the Cathedral & the Russian Cathedral. Great restaurant for Finnish food and beer under €7 is Ravintola Kolme Kruunua. Lovely shops at the harbour stalls & Craft Corner. Take a walk down the Esplanade.

It is a self check-in hotel that provides no front-desk services. It would have been a perfect practice if you preferred contactless and prompt check-in procedures (most of the process can be done days before online). Unfortunately, I actually needed the luggage storage service which is not provided by the hotel. Fortunately, there is a restaurant nearby which offers this service (but need to pay for it and the drop-off/pick up time is restricted to it’s opening hours). I would recommend this hotel if you are a backpacker instead of a traveller who carries many luggages like me :’(

Het hotel ligt in het centrum, op loopafstand van de trein- en busstations, evenals alle winkelcentra in het centrum van Helsinki. Dat is een pluspunt. Maar het hotel is volledig op afstand bereikbaar - toegang na 16.00 uur met een code die een dag eerder niet naar ons is verzonden. Het is goed dat we mobiel internet hadden en contact konden opnemen met de ondersteuning van trip.com, anders hadden we niet kunnen inloggen. Het probleem was binnen 40 minuten opgelost. Als het nacht of slecht weer was geweest, zou dit van cruciaal belang zijn geweest. Ook kunt u zowel vóór het inchecken als na het uitchecken (tot 12.00 uur) geen spullen achterlaten. Voor ons was dit belangrijk, omdat... Bagageopslag op het Kampi-busstation kan alleen met een creditcard worden betaald en Russische kaarten werken niet. De kamer was schoon, de bedden waren comfortabel, de kussens waren klein en klonterig. De douche werkte.

the location was fantastic. many tourists must visits are in walking distance and the viking line ferry’s port is literally under 5 minutes away. both grocery stores nearby were good. the room was clean, spacious and quiet. the water pressure was great and the tab water tasted amazing. the check-in and check-out were smooth and convenient. my room had the building wall view because it’s facing the other direction than the sea front, which was the only underwhelming thing i wished was better. overall excellent stay.

Rauhallinen sijainti ,hyvät yhteydet ulkoilu maastoon ja luontoon, Nuuksion kansallispuistoon. Rauhalliset mukavat ja tilavat huoneet .Iso plussa allas-osastosta ja saunasta. Infoa voisi olla esillä hieman enemmän Hotellin palveluista heti saavuttaessa, respa oli hyvin kiireinen ,koska vain yksi henkilö työskenteli siinä vaikka oli ihan vilkas lauantai , teki turhan montaa hommaa , oli baarissa myyjänä plus respassa ja illallisella auttamassa ja kokous tilojakin taisi siivoilla siinä samalla. Opasteet hotellin pihapiirissä jotkut hieman jo uusimista vailla ja Hotelli alueen kartta voisi olla myös ulkona esillä. Lisäksi helpottaisi respan kiirettä jos aulassa olisi esimerkiksi kahvi sekä juoma automaatti. Nyt kahvia esim sai vain rajoitettuun aikaan , tai sitten vastaavasti huoneissa voisi olla vedenkeittimet. Ulkomaalaiset (joita hotellissa oli paljon )esim tottuneet usein juomaan teetä ja vedenkeitin hotelli huoneessa vakio varuste. Aamiainen ihan perus , sillit ja pieni makea jälkiruoka puuttuivat.

Perustason hotelli erinomaisella sijainnilla. Todella rauhallinen ja siisti huone. Jos et kaipaa luksusta, vaan mukavan tukikohdan kaupunkilomalle, tämä on oiva valinta.
