Geweldige recensies, absoluut de beste prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. Het ligt direct achter het Aston Beach Hotel, op 2 minuten lopen van het strand, met een McDonald's een paar straten verderop. De dierentuin is op 15 minuten lopen en het internetberoemde Japanse rijstballenrestaurant ligt op 5 minuten lopen. Het hotel is inclusief ontbijt, dat gratis is, maar ook fruit, yoghurt, koffie en sap, wat veel geld bespaart. Er zijn elke ochtend activiteiten, waaronder een huladansles. De leraar was erg vriendelijk en ik heb me prima vermaakt. Hoewel de faciliteiten iets minder zijn dan die van een driesterrenhotel, maken de prijs en de service dat goed.

I had a wonderful stay here. Every morning, I enjoyed breakfast on the balcony with a view of the lagoon and the ocean — it was absolutely beautiful. The building is a bit dated, but it is undergoing renovations, and even so, the property has five swimming pools, a lagoon, and easy beach access, which I really appreciated. One downside was that I was assigned a room in the Rainbow Tower with a connecting door. The noise from the neighboring room came through very clearly, almost as if it were in my own room, and the soundproofing was poor due to the connecting door. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the main Waikiki area, which felt a little far but still manageable on foot. Overall, I really enjoyed the facilities, the pools, and especially the lagoon.

I have no complaints at all - this might be the perfect resort at this price point. Check-in was smooth, the rooms are excellent (albeit maybe a bit on the small side for three persons, and we did miss not having a barhtub), the view excellent (description said “ocean view” and it was better than expected, even from the Pacific Tower), restaurants both great. The location is perfect, just a few min walk from the Royal Hawaiian Center; and the hotel has its own /small/ beach with really a good view of the sunset. Big shoutout to the very friendly staff at Monkeypod Kitchen as well as the poolside Towel Hut! Would revisit without a doubt!

De hygiëne is erg goed en de servicegerichtheid is ook goed. We verbleven 6 dagen in de clubkamer. Clubkamer met ontbijtbuffet. Er is eten en drinken in de club op de 5e verdieping van 7.00-20.00 uur. Er is een café op de eerste verdieping en een Japans restaurant is ook goed. Er is een poké-winkel in het naastgelegen ilikai-hotel, dat goed smaakt. Het strand ligt op 15 minuten lopen. Niet aan te raden als je graag naar het strand gaat. Het winkelcentrum Waikiki ligt op 20 minuten lopen. Ik rij meestal op de roze lijn en heb een JCB-creditcard, zodat ik gratis kan rijden. Drankjes en hapjes: 2 Hawaïaanse bieren van de tap, rode en witte wijn. Cola, thee, Honolulu-koffie, enz. Het zwembad is niet groot, maar er zijn niet veel mensen. Het hotel in Waikiki ligt relatief dichtbij de luchthaven, waardoor u niet door de file hoeft. Het winkelcentrum Alamoana ligt op 10 minuten lopen. Supermarkt Donquijote (donki) ligt op 15 minuten lopen (de prik is hier heerlijk en goedkoop). Het wordt aanbevolen om naar Hawaï te vliegen met het ANA A380-vliegtuig, een groot vliegtuig van 2 verdiepingen. Het schildpadvliegtuig is zo schattig.

The hotel is located right on the shoreline with walkable access to many restaurants nearby. It’s also a convenient 20 minute drive from the airport. The rooms were spacious and had all the necessities. The only downside is the nearby pubs open late into the night; you will hear people screaming/yelling and karaoke until about 1am. If you are on a lower floor, the waves crashing against the shore can get rough and loud depending on the tides/weather.

This was the best value hotel we stayed at during our stay (we also stayed at Hawaiian Village and Aulani). Location, quality of service and amenities. Had enough to keep kids entertained without being as overwhelmingly busy at Hilton. Enough space to relax, the onsite beach is small but always empty. Fitness centre is big. Only issue was wifi connectivity - lacked solid connection in either the room or generally around the resort however the hotel kindly gave us a portable device for free which helped somewhat. Highlights included kids cinema and movie, pool tables and other free games and walking distance from downtown with some of the best restaurants (highly advised to book ahead).

The location was great, walking distance to the beach, shops , restaurants, etc. Room was nice, great views. The bell desk and concierge were super helpful and friendly. Check in was a bit slow other than that everything was good.

Het hotel heeft een rustieke uitstraling en de algehele sfeer is erg prettig. Het ligt direct aan het strand en parkeren is niet zo duur als op Oahu. Zelf parkeren kost 35 dollar, parkeren bij het hotel kost 40 dollar. Een belangrijke tip! Kies absoluut voor een kamer op een hoge verdieping, bij voorkeur boven de 10e. De eerste nacht zaten we op de 3e verdieping en daar waren die vervelende kakkerlakken! We hebben later contact opgenomen met het hotel en zijn naar de 12e verdieping verplaatst, wat echt eng was. Kies dus zeker voor een kamer op een hoge verdieping! Het hotel ligt in Lahaina en er zijn diverse eetgelegenheden op 5 minuten rijden, waaronder winkels met Amerikaans ontbijt, dus ontbijt is geen probleem. Er zijn ook apotheken in de buurt. Al met al is het een prima hotel.

這是一家非常有特色的旅館，接待我們是一位非常慈祥的老太，服務非常好。感覺是一棟別墅，非常的安靜，周邊都是樹林，還有共用的温泉。別墅是上下樓，有共用的大廳，房間裏放了一桶礦泉水，密碼開大門和房間門，房間還是挺大的，設施也是齊全的，衹是看你喜歡不喜歡這種古老的風格。早餐和晚餐都很有特色，我是非常喜歡這格調的。

We stayed at the one of the Historic Banyan King Room with City View for 4 nights, room was conveniently located in the main building, doesn’t come with a balcony, but has 2 windows. It gets noisy sometimes at night even though we stayed on the 4th floor. The resort also offers a list of cultural and wellness activities for booking, this is where the resort fee goes to, so make sure you book some of these activities if time permits. Overall we liked the hotel as it’s at the center of Waikiki and has direct access to the beach, several great restaurants and you can also pre-order Honolulu Coffee for pick-up at the hotel location.
