The hotel was famous and adjacent to a tourist attraction. The service was nice, except for a young male driver (for the commuting car that connected the hotel's buildings and the tourist attraction's gate), who seemed a bit reluctant or tired at work and lacked communication skills or etiquette (since the hotel claimed itself to be a five star hotel, it is not uncommon for guests to have higher expectations than elsewhere). It is said that the hotel was built in the 1950s. Thus, it was not surprising that many facilities seemed relatively old, especially when compared with newer hotels. Overall, the hotel could be a good choice.

Our stay was very pleasant. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the city center was easy to reach by bus. The team was very welcoming and responsive to our wishes. The hotel gym was also relatively well equipped. We can definitely recommend it.

A lovely traditional courtyard hotel with lots of character right in the heart of the old city within walking distance to everything you would want to see. The owner speaks good English and provides you with a map and details of beautiful Pingyao’s must see local attractions. The hotel is quiet and the Chinese breakfasts with either tea or coffee are delicious. The owner can also organise a good driver for any out of town excursions. Highly recommended

Excellent location near the South Gate and easy access to Main Street in the old town. Looks a little rundown but perhaps it was the look it as trying to keep. Unsure. Classic chinese style room (nice!!) with Kang Bed meant for those who are accustomed to hard bed. Toilet and shower are not separated. Provide high speed train station pickup and drop off which are big pluses. Helpful front desk.

This place was amazing! Easy check in, and the hosts were incredible. The guesthouse is very cute, and the rooms are immaculate. I would highly recommend staying here! The location, inside of the old town, was very convenient.

its very beautiful traditional building from the outside. but the interior is modern. its in the center, easy to access to crowded and animated places. At nightime, the place shine beautifullly, a picture snapshot spot. The room is spaciouse, otherwise it is quiet expensive.

The hotel is really worth recommending. The rooms are in a traditional style, very atmospheric and cozy. The room and bedding were very clean, toiletries were in the bathroom. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful - they even offered us a free room upgrade! The hotel courtyard is beautiful, the lanterns are wonderful! The hotel is very well located, just a few minutes from the main shopping street. The breakfast was also very good. In summary, I highly recommend this Hotel.

Excellent stay at the Parkview Hotel. My room on the 35th floor had a fantastic view of the park and the center of the city. The room was comfortable, and I appreciated the delivery of fresh fruit. Staff members were friendly and helpful.
