Hij was in Enokiya Ryokan en had een echt leuke, ontspannende ervaring. Het is een beetje van een wandeling van Yufuin Station, maar een korte taxirijd is eenvoudig en niet duur, dus het was helemaal geen probleem. De locatie is ook geweldig, slechts een korte wandeling naar Yufuin Floral Village en de belangrijkste winkelstraat. De kamers zijn ruime en comfortabele. Merk op dat er geen douche in de kamer, alleen een douche en toilet, maar u kunt douchen bij de ezel en het was helemaal niet onbeleefd. De ezel zelf is privé en kan worden geboekt via hun app, die ik echt leuk vond. Ik had diner bij de ryokan. Het is op de prijszijde, maar niet onredelijk, en het omakas-stijl maaltijd was echt goed. Het ontbijt werd ook goed gedaan met lokale ingrediënten. Het personeel spreekt Engels, waardoor alles goed en gemakkelijk is gemaakt. Overall, a very pleasant stay. I had a great stay. The owners are super lovely and will go out of their way to help you. I highly recommend the breakfast and dinners, they were great for big days of hiking and convenient as there aren't too many food options up in the mountains. The train carriages have a large sleeping area and a connected large room to store your things or just to hang out. Yes the pillows are like a bag of rice but it's part of the experience! Great place to stay and great value.

Room was clean and breakfast was yummy. The room definitely can fit a family of four. Just that be prepared to set up the tatami yourself, which I'm ok because I used more than a set to thicken my bedding. Very near to Kinrin Lake and Floral Village, all within walking distance. The proximity helps a lot when you want to see the morning mist. The family onsen was great and spacious. Since you have to bath at the onsen area, might as well enjoy the onsen first.

Our ryokanl booking came with sukiyaki dinner and breakfast. We enjoyed the dinner very much but had to skip the breakfast due to our tight schedule. The ryokan had a cosy atmosphere, almost as if like we were staying at a good friend's house. There were a few cute and friendly cats which were mostly hanging around the courtyard and reception area. Nice onsen private onsen baths. Wished that the ryokan had provided luggage stands for us to put our luggages instead of us having to place our luggages on the floor and on the sofa.

This is my favourite ryokan out of my whole trip. It's on an uphill, the carpark is before the ryokan. There are international/foreign staff that can speak english and they help out the family (I believe). They are still very courteous. They will give you the tour of the place and the room. It's so spacious with massage chairs and two outdoor onsens. Everything was great. I wished I could stay longer in the house to rest. Dinner was superb. They will bring you the course dishes and the boss? would come out to grill steak on a hot stone. It was very delightful. Breakfast will be at the same table. It was really good as well. There's also a surprise when you check out. It is overall a very homely stay and the facilities are great!

Het is een geweldige plek om als stel te verblijven. Ik ging met drie vrienden. Het voelt erg privé, dus het is een goede plek om met stelletjes te verblijven in plaats van met vrienden. Het was schoon, vriendelijk en er waren mensen die Engels en Koreaans spraken, dus er was niet echt een probleem met de communicatie! Kaiseki is ook erg lekker. Het is een beetje prijzig, maar het is een goede plek voor stelletjes om een ​​dag goede herinneringen op te doen.

Terra Yufuin is great for families. The 6 beds available can accommodate at least 6 adults and a handful of kids. The onsite indoor onsen was well loved by my kids. We stayed in the ”sauna” house and hardly used the sauna- it was great to go in and out of the sauna in the November weather. The owner/manager was responsive to our requests through the app. However, I found the amenities to be very precisely provided for laundry detergent pods and trash bags. I felt like we had to ration them even though we did not request for more. Only one pillow is provided per bed too. I would recommend this place especially if you are alright with bunk beds above your bed. My older folks bumped their heads every night so that will have to be a consideration. Other than that, the place is well kept and beautiful.
