On arrival we were told the Aircon wasn't working in that room although we booked back in May, we could the fan provided. We were in the 3rd top floor, lift wasn't working to bring us down to ground level either. Breakfast was chaotic as hotel full..not enough attention to detail in filling up food for guests. When we went to checkout the lady was quiet abrupt. Have stayed here twice before but can't say was impressed this time with staff attitude on arrival no apologies for Aircon inconvenience not even told about the lift as we were staying on 3rd Floor.

It is exactly what it says on the tin! A budget hotel. We’re used to staying in Travelodge, Premier Inn and Holiday Inn but this was by far the most basic of them all. Odd set up of bathroom facilities in room. Sink and mirror in the bedroom and then straight into the shower from the bedroom too, leading to a bit of a flood of water coming into the bedroom when getting in and out of the shower. Toilet was in a separate closet. Tight squeeze at the end of the bed to get to the other side. Clean but small. Made our inside cruise cabin look massive in comparison. Breakfast is included but it is a very basic continental offering. 3 cereals, bread for toasting, mini croissants and pain au chocolat, cheese, ham, jam and marmalade.

Stay here a few weeks and had a much better experience. Checkin told we are full and you have to take a twin bed. Then asked to pay, however I had already prepaid. The room had a window which was an internal view. Bath struggled to stay filled as issue with plug. The light above the bath flashed on and off for a while then stayed off. The attiutide from reception was poor, we are full , nothing we can do!

Basic but clean and very convenient for M3/A34 etc. Good service at check in. Quiet room. Shower good; everything clean. Very good value for money.

Hotel was clean, and handy location for the station. The room was quiet and although no A/C, a fan provided was quite adequate even though it was a very hot day. Bathroom a bit tired though.

Pleasant room. Only stayed for 8 hours in total, so did not use any of the hotel amenities. Decor is looking a little worn but far from outdated and dilapidated. Bedroom was a fair size and tidy. Tea/coffee supplies, bottled water, hairdryer, iron, soap/shampoo/shower gel. The only thing thing letting the stay down was the bed. The frame felt a little unstable and the mattress felt very ‘bouncy’ and cheap. I still managed to sleep ok but I have slept in much more comfortable beds at basic hotels. Overall, for the amount I paid, it was well worth the stay.

Wij maken gebruik van dit hotel terwijl we in Swanmore werken. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is goed, de service is goed en de faciliteiten zijn geweldig.

Ik vind het leuk daar te warm, veilig, heerlijk eten, met een eigen stijl.

So I went there on Thursday 18th- Sunday 21st January. Myself and my husband got there and was greeted very politely by a lovely lady at the reception. We got to the room and was happy with everything. The only downside to the hotel is they don’t have dining services but there is a spoons next door. The staff are delightful and especially to the lady on Thursday (I can’t remember her name) and the 2 receptionists working on Thursday night :)
