Punatea Village ligt in Taiarapu-Est bij de zee, op 2 min. rijden van Motu Nono en op 14 min. van Botanische Tuinen. Dit pension bij het strand ligt op 12 km van La Plage de Maui en op 15,8 km van Watertuinen van Vaipahi.
Zoek het water op en geniet van een dagje aan het privéstrand of profiteer van andere recreatieve voorzieningen zoals een buitenzwembad en fietsenverhuur. Dit pension bevat ook gratis wifi, hulp bij uitstapjes/tickets en een picknickplaats.
De receptie is tijdens beperkte uren geopend. Een shuttleservice van/naar de luchthaven is 24 uur per dag tegen betaling beschikbaar en ter plaatse heb je gratis parkeerplaatsen.
Doe of je thuis bent in één van de 9 individueel gemeubileerde kamers. Er is wifi (toeslag) op de kamer als je op het internet wilt surfen. Bij de voorzieningen horen een plafondventilator en de kamers worden dagelijks schoongemaakt.
Huge room but space not used efficiently. Bathtub was not properly secured. And shower was inside bathtub. The toilet bidet has to be turned off else it will leak. Location was right in front of the ferry terminal.
Location is one of the best in Moorea for sunset and locals.
Keep in mind that you should have a scooter or car to get to NIU!
Taxi is too far and too expensive. There is a scooter rental 5min away.
NIU super new. You can hear the ocean at night if you want. Supreme!
The check in was lovely … the receptionist was lovely and friendly. The female manager a bit snobby (sorry to say).
Try the „poisson cru“ at „O2“ restaurant near by

Rooms are spacious enough for 1-2 persons if you stay only 1-3 nights. Our beds (especially pillows, sheets and mattress) were super comfy and we even had a little fridge in our room. There are no windows in the cabins but the AC is doing the job
First we were but concerned about the shared bathrooms & restrooms. But no need! You find bathrooms (men & women are in separate aisle) with a shower (equipped w shower gel, shampoo & conditioner) incl a toilet and sink on each floor and you simple lock the room once you need to use it. All is really clean. We also liked the design of each area. The rooftop bar offers a big variety of drinks and some snacks. Fantastic view
The Kon tiki is also very central. In front of the ferry terminal and you can walk „downtown“ for shopping, eating etc
If we come back and need accommodation for a couple of nights, this would be our choice

It's a piece of paradise, unbelievable service, every person who works there is helpful, and willing to go above and beyond to ensure you feel at home .. definitely recommend staying there. You can snorkel right there - the bungalos are on the edge of a small coral riff
They charge for EVERYTHING. They even put a tip on my card for themselves without asking me. When asked, the restaurant lady apologized and asked for refund the money back to me. The ladies at the front desk are very aggressive especially the one without hair line. She was very very aggressive. She has no business working the front desk.
I paid for dinner show with buffet but they sat me behind the pillars and I couldn’t even see the show. When I complained, they told me that the people upfront had made their reservation way in advance than me. Towards the end of the show, the moved me to another table by which it was already too late as the show was almost ending. The young man at the front desk was very welcoming. I truly disliked the service at this resort.
The Paris lady at the spa was extremely nice and pleasant. The ladies at the boutique were a bit kind. Overall, it would have been a nice stay if they had taken the time to make my stay a bit nice. Do not go here if you are a black American. The women are aggressive towards us for no reason. That’s my observation.
De strandbungalows met privézwembad waren een beetje verdronken. De hoofdzwembad was gesloten door renovaties en het was niet bedoeld. De renovaties hadden moeten zijn voltooid voordat we verbleven. Dat was een truc en ze gaven ons een krediet van $50.
De lagoon en huisreef is spectaculair en zo vol vis. Alle niet-motoriseerde activiteiten, waaronder kajaking en SUP zijn inbegrepen. Erg goed buffet ontbijt. De dienst was 3 sterren zeker niet 5 sterren service. Een fantastische locatie en ga naar een gelukkig uur voor zonlicht.

AAdRaInKeA great hotel for those on a late flight arrival that need somewhere to crash. Its a no thrills hotel but as its within walking distance from the airport you dont have to shell out for an expensive taxi.

Llll5283The sound of the bar downstairs can't be heard on the 6th floor, but the room is soundproof, but it is acceptable. The front desk is very welcoming, and any questions will be answered patiently, and they can also help them book taxi. Take a taxi to the airport for about 30 knives. The room space is quite large, the facilities are very new, and the air conditioning is very powerful.
GGuest UserThe hotel is really old, probably from the 1990s; especially the bathroom, the toilet breaks down as soon as you press it.
The hotel is not big and there is not much to do. When I went there, there were no projects on the shore because of the wind. I booked a tour around the island, but many places were closed due to strong winds. The strange thing is that it is understandable that outdoor places are closed, but why are museums also closed?
Hotel breakfast and dinner were average
If you want to stay on the main island, it is not as good as Hilton in terms of cost performance.
GGuest UserDefinitely opt for the overwater bungalows. The beach bungalows with private pools were a little worn down. The main pool was closed due to renovations and it was not supposed to be. The renovations were supposed to have been completed before our stay. That was a bummer and all they did was give us a $50 credit.
The lagoon and house reef is spectacular and so full of fish. All not motorized activities including kayaking and SUP are included. Very good buffet breakfast. The service was 3 star definitely not 5 star service. An absolutely fantastic location and go to happy hour for sunset.
GGuest UserDecent place in a nice location but the reef has been mostly destroyed near the resort. The biggest problem was that the water was not drinkable (so also not suitable for brushing teeth)! At this price I would expect basic things like this to be in place. I ran out of water one night and had no way of getting anything to drink without walking for over an hour to the nearest water station.
The staff were nice but the food was uninspiring and overpriced. The rooms were simple but OK.
AAnonymous UserAbout 10 minutes from the pier. There is a supermarket at the intersection. The room has a microwave and refrigerator. There is a swimming pool at the door. There are free-range strolling chickens in the yard.
PPitchananI got a room that was near the street. Quite noisy with cars and chicken. Wish they could have a better soundproof on every rooms. The rest of stay was great. Staffs were very helpful even if they couldn't communicate in English quite well. Overall, it's all good.

We are in a family room, which is divided into upstairs and downstairs, so you can sleep separately. It is very good for families with children. There is a buffet with Polynesian cultural dance in the restaurant on Wednesday night. The buffet is average and very expensive, not worth it. Everything else is good
