its very beautiful traditional building from the outside. but the interior is modern. its in the center, easy to access to crowded and animated places. At nightime, the place shine beautifullly, a picture snapshot spot. The room is spaciouse, otherwise it is quiet expensive.

We had an amazing stay at Sunyata Datong. The hotel beautifully blends traditional Chinese architecture with modern elegance, offering a serene and spotless environment that feels both authentic and refined. The hospitality was exceptional — every staff member was polite, attentive, and genuinely caring. Their attention to detail made the experience truly memorable, from the thoughtful room touches to the warm service at every interaction. The team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfast was another highlight, with a wonderful selection of freshly prepared dishes that were both delicious and beautifully presented. Location: near LinFenXi High Speed Rail Station 临汾西站(10mins drive/ 20mins by local public transport to LuoGuQiaoTou 锣鼓桥头站). Best is that they provide pick-up and drop-off at HSR station, just make a call 3 hours in advance. I dont have local number, so I email them in advance before my trip, they replied my email and provide me their WeChat number so I can make reservation for the pick-up service at the station. Many local tours have pick-up and drop-off service near the hotel (junction outside the hotel), easy and convenient. Services: warm and welcoming services. Tea and drinks in the lobby, luggage storage as well. Room: clean big room, big screen TV, mini bar fridge, bathrobe and comfy king bed. Lavender shower shampoo, hand soap and body lotion, make me feel so so much relax. Laundry: laundry machine are free of charge (washer and dryer). Laundry room provide ironing equipment, books, drink as well. Definitely not get bored. Otherwise, can use phone connect their website to make a reminder while the laundry have done (so convenient). Gym Room: just opposite and same level of laundry room. Treadmill are so new. Breakfast: varieties of choice. Before that I already crave for coffee since it is not so common to find espresso in the local breakfast restaurant. Salad bar, local meatball soup, noodles, dumplings, wantons, boiled egg, fried egg, fried tomato with egg and local cooked food. So many choice and so satisfying. However they dont have egg omelette, it is fine for me. I found that even though not staying at LinFen city centre, it is still fine to stay here as the traffic here is convenient. And here is more quiet and more relax👍 The only thing I dont like is, some customer smoking in the lift and hotel lobby (even though there is a sign in the lift to advice not to smoke), definitely affecting those unlike smoking smell and sick of cigarette smell like me.

De antieke stijl is zeer schoon en de locatie is zeer goed. Het is handig om naar de Huayan-tempel en de stadspoort te gaan om de lantaarns te zien, Zini 369, enz. Beneden ligt Jinxi Road, die op loopafstand ligt. Het ontbijt in de herberg is bijzonder heerlijk, vooral de pannenkoeken en haggis. Een speciaal bedankje. Het sneeuwde in de ochtend toen we vertrokken. Nadat we vroeg waren vertrokken, was de snelweg afgesloten en was de ingang lange tijd geblokkeerd. We hebben niet ontbeten en stonden lange tijd in de file. De volwassenen en de kinderen waren erg hongerig en moe, dus moesten we terug naar de herberg om te eten. We vertrokken na het ontbijt en de baas was erg vriendelijk en ontving ons weer. Bedankt, het was geweldig. Ik zal hier de volgende keer weer verblijven keer dat ik naar Datong kom?

Unfortunately, the overall stay was not great. When we booked the hotel, we specifically requested a non-smoking room, which is essential for us because of health issues. After double confirming with the hotel that they have non-smoking rooms (based on the website, all rooms are non smoking), we paid for our booking. However, shortly after, they informed us that smoking in hotel rooms is common and unavoidable in Taiyuan. We felt deceived into making the payment and realized we were stuck with this accommodation for our 7-day stay. Upon checking in, we had to request a room change due to a strong smoke smell in the original room. The second room was better and the hotel staff was nice enough to provide an air purifier. Throughout our entire stay, people were smoking in the elevator, lobby, and even at the dinner table. If we had known this beforehand, we would have reconsidered staying here. For a 5-star hotel, it did not meet our expectations, and unfortunately, we paid far too much for this experience. The only highlight of our stay was the hotel staff. They were always friendly, helpful, and did their very best to serve the guests, which made our trip a bit more enjoyable. We thank them for their excellent service.

Dit was de eerste keer dat ik in dit buffetrestaurant heb gegeten en ik was enorm onder de indruk van de attente service van de obers! Van de enthousiaste begeleiding bij de deur tot de nauwkeurige verzorging tijdens de maaltijd: alle personeelsleden straalden professionaliteit en warmte uit. Ik wil graag een speciaal compliment geven aan de twee obers. Zij hadden altijd een glimlach op hun gezicht, namen het initiatief om te helpen met het verschonen van de borden, ruimden de tafel af en herinnerden ons er vriendelijk aan als de gerechten werden vervangen. Zelfs als er tijdens drukke eetmomenten veel mensen zijn, blijven ze geduldig en attent. Ze besteden altijd aandacht aan de behoeften van de klanten en zorgen er nooit voor dat de kwaliteit van de service afneemt vanwege de drukte. Het restaurant heeft een uitgebreide menukaart, maar wat mij het meeste heeft geïmponeerd, is de onvoorwaardelijke medewerking van het hele serviceteam. De maaltijden worden snel aangevuld, de omgeving is schoon en de sfeer is ontspannen en warm. De obers zijn niet alleen efficiënt en professioneel, maar zorgen er ook voor dat elke gast zich gewaardeerd en gelukkig voelt. Dit soort service attitude voegt echt veel toe aan de eetervaring. Ik kom zeker de volgende keer weer!

Great location and they were all super nice. However the room was super hot and there is no AC. When we asked they brought up a portable unit but it wasn’t nearly enough to keep the room comfortable. If it’s winter it could be a great spot but definitely look elsewhere in the late spring and summer.

I went out with my friends and chose the newly opened Atour on the West Station. I didn't expect the stay to be great! The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was very good. Some hotels did not have a cold air system during the formal summer, but the hotel in Atour had it and it was very intimate. Each of the service staff was intimate and thoughtful. At that time, the receptionist Yi Ran An Heze was very good. After that, every staff member was very friendly and smiling during the store. The breakfast during the stay was rich, because the occupancy rate was very high during May 1st, the number of restaurants was relatively large, but the order was very good, the staff turned over the table quickly, and the store manager also did it himself during the period, whether it was the reception or in the restaurant. There is also a shuttle bus to the ancient city. If you want to go to the ancient city, you can also experience it if you don't have a parking space. In short, I am really satisfied with a stay experience.

Located within walking distance to Zhong Lou street and Liu Xiang which provides ample choices of food and shopping experience till late hours. It was lovely to have a small washing machine in the bathroom, that means less clothes to bring and more luggage space for shopping.

1. TaiYuan MRT Line 2 exit side by side with hotel main door. so very easy to take this MRT from South to Central or North. 2. Hotel all staffs from check in counter, restaurant staffs all can remember what's we drink coffee on day before, we are so surprised and always show all smiles . 3. Breakfast are many items to select and very good. we are so enjoying this hotel. 4. We would like to back this hotel when we travel to TaiYuan on next time. Great!
