Great place to stay if you're looking to visit Acadia and have a rental car! I stayed in a value cabin (think duplex cabin with one shared wall) and it was exactly what you would expect. My unit had a fridge and a comfortable bed. Employees were very nice-- would totally stay here again instead of being in Bar Harbor.
There are full size cabins, value cabins, and motel rooms at this hotel so just pay attention to what you book so you can adjust your expectations accordingly.
Another bonus-- it was a quick drive to a Walmart to stock up on supplies. There is also a really good lobster restaurant a little ways across the street with much better pricing than what you would find in bar harbor

The older gentleman working at night is quite rude with his demeanour and gestures saying “good lord” in absolute disgust to us upon arrival. We weren’t the only ones offended by him while talking to other guests. I will definitely return as we loved the daytime staff and atmosphere other then his unfriendly welcome. Customer service is definitely not his high point. We all have bad days so I’ll give this place another chance since everyone and everything was perfect other than that.

__fengsuixindong_I booked a twin room and got a twin suite, which was very large. Across the road was the Holiday Inn (expensive), where there was a lawn where you could watch the sunrise. Just a few minutes drive to Acadia National Park, where you can enjoy beautiful scenery and delicious food.

The service was exceptional. From the moment I checked in, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and made me feel right at home. They were incredibly helpful throughout my stay,

The motel's facilities were top-notch and exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the amenities I needed. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day of exploration. The room also featured a mini-fridge, which came in handy for drinks. Additionally, the motel grounds were well-kept and provided a relaxing environment to unwind.
Breakfast:
The complimentary breakfast was simply fantastic.

GGuest UserIvey's reception desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The connected bistro was also great. Since I was traveling by bicycle, it was nice to have a restaurant so handy. The wait staff was personable and efficient and the food (Thai chili chicken wings and farmer's fries) was delicious. The room was comfortable and well stocked. While the hotel is dated, it did the job and I was very happy with my visit. I would definitely stay her again.

I feel that with the daily 25 dollar amenity fee the early check in should have been implemented under that fee without any additional fees.

GGuest UserClean hotel even during renovations. Tub was a little colored. Rooms are VERY spacious, breakfast ia about as basic as a continental breakfast comes. Parking was terrible due to the snow. I would stay here again tho.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located on the highway on the border of Ogunquit and Wells. Clean comfortable rooms and easy access to nearby beaches and coastal and town attractions. Happy and pleased to stay here.

GGuest UserThe outside may look dingy, but don’t let that fool you! The rooms are beautiful and overlook the cove with floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies for each room. Wonderful experience!
