We had the most incredible experience at Guarda Lodge in Engadine. The location truly is a hidden gem that I couldn't stop raving about to my travel group. Guarda is a special place that left a lasting impression on us. Additionally, Thomas, the manager and owner, was outstanding - incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. I highly recommend Guarda Lodge to anyone looking for a unique and welcoming retreat in Engadine.

Wonderful, small hotel. Rooms were clean & appeared to be new. There were big windows and a nice balcony that offered amazing views of the mountains. Bathroom was very nice and new as well. Breakfast was served in a common area and had everything you could want. Birchermuesli, breads, yogurts, jams, etc. The muesli, granola, yogurt, and jams were all homemade! The owners were so friendly and accommodating. I was very impressed by the whole experience and will surely be back this summer. Thank you Guarda Lodge!

My wife and I enjoyed 4 nights at Guarda Lodge. Thomas was the consummate host! For 3 nights we stayed in Room Macun, with amazing views to the Swiss Dolomites and down the valley towards Lavin & Zernez. We had to change rooms to Room Tuoi the 4th night, which was even better! Not quite the same views, but larger and with views out the back to the garden and mountains. The lodge is super clean and new, beds were comfortable, bathroom/shower outstanding and underground parking was so convenient. Breakfast buffet was outstanding and had delicious breads, croissants, birchermuesli, etc. Hiking path to Piz Buin is right out the door and the village of Guarda about 400 meters away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back to Guarda Lodge!

The best jet lag cure ever…….Our first stop on a trip to Switzerland was perfect in every way. Charming village. Beautiful facility. Great meals (dinner is offered as an option). Excellent hands-on proprietor. We’ll be back.

The rooms are super clean, comfortable and quiet. Very nice breakfast and very hospitable hosts. I even forgot my jacket in the room upon departure, and the host drove down to the train station to return it to me. I highly recommend this Lodge!

We spent three nights at the Guarda Lodge and we really enjoyed our time there. We can just recommend it. The location is fantastic. There are several easy walks starting directly from the Guarda Lodge - one path leads for example to a beautiful little river with a stunning forest all around it. The hosts are very kind. We felt at home from the very first moment. We appreciated their attention to regional products at the breakfast buffet and in the evening menu. The rooms are modern, well kept, very quite. Everything was perfect! We will certainly stay again at the Guarda Lodge.

Perfect lodge, cosy and design, in Guarda. Charming reception, hosts very available and full of advices, pacious room, perfect bedding, luxurious bathroom, very clean, great breakfast, very good value for money, we will return!

We really recommend this place for those who love to be in the scenic mountains and want to be in a calm, relaxed and quiet place, with all the comfort of the accomodation and hospitality of the owners.
