Hotel ligt in het centrum en dicht bij het meer. Ik vond de ambiance prima, een echt Oostenrijks hotel. Toen wij op een kamer waren vlak onder de supermarkt en wakker werden van het lawaai van de karren, werd dit meteen op gepakt en konden we naar een andere kamer. 1 min puntje het diner wat we bij moesten boeken was zeer matig.

Dit hotel is zijn vierde ster absoluut niet waard. Ik zou het hoogstens drie sterren geven. Het is oubollig en aan renovatie toe. Op verschillende plaatsen ruikt het ook muf. Wij hadden een familie kamer. Deze was ruim met twee badkamers. Tot daar het positieve. De douche deur hing scheef in zijn scharnieren en ging maar half toe. De kamer was zogezegd vernieuwd maar dan vraag ik mij af wat er juist vernieuwd was. Ontbijt was ok en uitgebreid als je tenminste geen oude croissants had. Enorme drukte in het hotel waar het personeel niet mee kon omgaan. Manden met vuile lakens bleven twee dagen in de gang staan. De wellness leek veelbelovend maar was precies een openbaar zwembad met tierende kinderen, volwassenen die bier dronken in de sauna, hygiëne regels die absoluut niet werden gerespecteerd. Gsm gebruik en het nemen van selfies kan toch niet getolereerd worden terwijl andere mensen naakt rondlopen. Na het melden aan de receptie werd slechts 1 keer controle uitgevoerd. Een volgeboekt hotel kan en mag de reden niet zijn om alles zomaar op zijn beloop te laten. Relaxen na het skiën was er dus helemaal niet bij. Het avondeten kon slechts op twee momenten: 18u30 wat heel vroeg is als je nog wenst te relaxen in de sauna. En 20u30 wat dan heel laat is… Avondeten was niet lekker en hoofdgerecht bijzonder weinig. Men doet een poging om nouvelle cuisine te serveren maar komt zelfs niet in de buurt. Desserts waren op voor mensen die om 20u30 kwamen eten. Kortom een enorm teleurstellende ervaring. Duur hotel die zijn sterren en prijs absoluut niet waard is. Kies een ander hotel waar je wel kwaliteit krijgt voor hetgeen je betaalt.

Was gewoon top, tophotel, vriendelijk personeel, veel accommodatie mogelijkheden, kindvriendelijk, gastvrij en goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Ontbijt was zeer ok, net als het dinner steeds 3 opties die top waren!

Het is een leuk hotel. Het heeft een fijne locatie midden in het dorp. Heel erg vriendelijk personeel dat altijd klaar staat voor vragen. Veder heeft het hotel veel faciliteiten zoals een Spa, buiten zwembad en ontbijt is lekker op zondag zelfs prosecco bij het ontbijt. Enige minpunt is het geluid van de kerk naar het hotel en de parkeerkosten.

During the Easter holidays we decided to spend our holiday in Zell am See and we chose the Hotel Neue Post which turned out to be a good choice. The hotel has a very good location, it is in the center of the city and is close to anywhere from there, parking is available in the underground garage with direct access to the hotel. We were very satisfied with the services provided, the staff is very helpful, both at the reception and in the restaurant during breakfast and dinner, the food is very tasty, the choice of food is sufficient for both breakfast and dinner, and the food is delicious. The hotel wellness is nice and well furnished. We were accommodated in an apartment, we were four adults, the apartment was optimally large, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, one with a toilet and one separate toilet, a large living room and a kitchenette, the rooms are furnished for years - they are a little older, but still it is OK.

My 2 sons and myself stayed here for 2 nights while on a trip thru Austria hiking. We were all very impressed with the hotel. We stayed in an apartment which gave us the extra room and found it very comfortable. The hotel has an incredibly nice spa area, with bathrooms and slippers for use and a great pool. These were used by us as an after hike wind down and it actually impressed my sons and may have converted them to the spa life. We also had breakfast in the hotel each morning and all thought it was excellent. The location of the hotel within Zell am See is perfect….easy from train, easy to mountains, and easy to buses. Perfect hotel, truly.

We went with Top Flight. Fab hotel. Stayed here for a week while skiing with wife and two teenagers, 13yr girl and 17yr boy. Hotel is 100metres from end of slope, the 1st Gondala and Ski hire shop, so you can literally ski to within 100m of hotel at the end of the day. It is also only 50m from the main bus station where all the skiers congregate in the morning to get their various buses to the many slopes around Zell am See. Hotel is very central, there is a super Après bar right outside the door, but there are at least 6 other Après bars within a 3min walk. We were half board, standard of food was ok to good (breakfast and dinner), satisfied us and two hungry teens every day. Hotel spa, pool etc are all well kitted out. Hotel bar is very nice but alcohol is way more expensive here than the Âpre bars. We had a very large family suite that suited us perfectly. Overall, I could not fault the place on anything. There is a well stocked Spar shop right beside the hotel for all your kids basics, treats etc. There is also a separate entrance with kit room for storing your ski’s and boots, boot holders are heated so your boots are toasty every morning :-). Lastly, the staff were extremely nice, all of them in every department. Well done to this hotel.

We had a lovely stay at this traditional hotel. Our room was a lovely size for 2 adults and 1 child, double sink in the bathroom, separate toilet, lots of storage. Our room was traditional Austrian style and it is fair to say the images online do suggest a more modern style, but we were happy. Very clean throughout the hotel. Staff were amazing, all very friendly and helpful, so refreshing. Nothing was too much trouble. Location perfect for ski lift, ski bus, and a wander around the lovely town and lake. Restaurant was never chaotic, constantly refilling the food, never waited for anything. Our daughter can be a tricky eater, only 1 day was a problem and no hesitation when we asked if a possible alternative, fabulous. We also celebrated a birthday whilst away, lovely birthday surprise at supper time. We have no doubt we will be visiting this hotel again.

There are better hotels in the area for the same price. Positives: - Friendly staff - Good location for ski lift or bus to ski lift - Clean rooms Negatives: - Very noisy both at night and in the morning (Avoid the first floor rooms if at all possible) - Sewage smell from drains in the bathroom during the day. Had to make sure to keep the door closed at all times. - Half Board food portions are exceptionally small and really just a waste of money. You will need to eat more and elsewhere if skiing. - No control over the heat in the room. Uncomfortably warm at night. Leaving a window open will have you listening to a passing train or church bells. - Fire pits are lit in an outdoor bar area downstairs, this made my room and clothes smell like smoke until I returned to close the window.
