Great wee hotel. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Room was great, shower did t work but issue solved quickly by Sharon. Dinner and breakfast were great. Hotel restraunt is cozy and has good range of beers to select from Recommend staying here

Just had one night bed breakfast and evening meal, would highly recommend staying there, the staff were so lovely they couldn’t have been nicer. The food was amazing too, the room was lovely, clean and well presented. It’s in an ideal spot for touring the local area

A cosy, friendly pub in the centre of Kirkby Lonsdale with excellent staff who can't do enough for their guests. We stayed for two nights in a clean comfortable room which we used as a base to relax and see the local area by way of two lovely walks fueled each morning by an excellent breakfast. Just had a weekend at the Red Dragon, on arrival we were met by a very friendly member of staff, explain everything and was shown to our room . The room was lovely , clean and warm . Had a fantastic evening meal off a very extensive menu. The breakfast was very filling and Sharon was lovely and approachable and always had a smile , we will return .

We were waiting a good 15 minutes for a table that was ready that no one seated us at we just went and sat down. We were never told to order at the bar or asked if we wanted some drinks. We were ignored by staff and left to do everything our self's the only thing they did was bring food over which I couldn't fault it was lovely the service on the other hand was very poor I've been here twice now and not treated very well.

Stayed this week for two nights. Fabulous bar and accommodation with friendly staff. Room was large & spotless. Very dog friendly. Food amazing and ate here both nights. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice. No car park but parking available nearby. Added bonus of a quiz on a Monday. Kirkby Lonsdale has lots of bars and independent shops. Would definitely recommend and we will certainly return 😊

Came here for a long weekend. Lovely warm welcome and a much needed warmth from the open fire. Dogs are welcome. Rooms are lovely and the bed is comfy. Tea & coffee with shortbread biscuits are in your room, there is also a hairdryer in the draw. The food is delicious here and make sure you book a slot as it does get busy and I can see why. The lady who tends your room and is also present at breakfast is Sharon, lovely lady and made sure we had everything we needed. Sharon also has her own book of walks and please take a look and take pictures as they are very well explained and can find your way around the walks easily. The staff are so nice here it felt like we were locals. I would like to make a huge point that this establishment DOES NOT WEAR LATEX GLOVES. So any one with a latex allergy you are safe here, I'm so pleased to be writing this 😊 Thankyou for taking care of us, we will definitely recommend and will be back.

From to check in to check out the whole experience was fabulous. Anthony the manager was excellent checking us in smoothly and making us feel welcome. Our room was tasteful and very clean. We decided to eat here in the evening also and the food was delicious. The breakfast was plentiful and beautifully presented. Help yourself to yogurt, cereal and toast and then we ordered from the menu. Sharron who served at breakfast was so friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back - we always drive past Kirkby Lonsdale on the way to the lakes but will make this a place to stay in future.

Stayed here for short break as we have stayed here before. As previous visit we really enjoyed our stay. Rooms are lovely and spotlessly clean with bath and a shower and instant hot water. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are very quiet. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. Meals can be had in the pub and we know from previous experience that the food is good. The breakfast is superb and you'd be hard pushed to find a better cooked breakfast. Great value and well positioned in middle of KL. My only suggestion would be slightly brighter bulbs in main light and bedside lights but that's being really picky. Would certainly recommend.
