This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed. It’s formerly known as Rosewood Yangon and now reopened for 8 months. Everything is excellent, very friendly, patient and helpful staff, extraordinary service. The hotel’s history dates back to 1927 so it’s absolutely a historical building. The decoration is very exquisite, breakfast is tasty and there are many choices. The location is also good and safe, very near to Sule Plaza, General Post Office and British Embassy. On terrace you can see the river view. I want to especially express my gratitude to Vanessa and Swar, they provided me with a lot of detailed information so I can know more about this hotel, this city and this country. Please make sure they can receive this feedback and my appreciation! Meanwhile, the front desk Moo Thaw, Luca showed me the hospitality. Next time I come to Yangon, I would consider choosing this hotel again, and also I will recommend it to my friends. Hope you can keep this level 😃

”My early check-in was handled smoothly by the lobby staff, who were consistently cheerful and helpful. Having stayed here five times, I can confidently say the service is superb. A major highlight is the breakfast, which I find exceptional because of the delicious local food options. Furthermore, the staff makes arranging Grab taxis very convenient. I consider this, overall, to be the best hotel experience in Yangon.”

Meliá has a very good location, just opposite Inya Lake. While the interior design is simple and not very modern, the facilities and service are great. It would be nice if a sauna and jacuzzi were available and provide briefing while check in. The breakfast is amazing. I was surprised to see both a café counter and an ice cream counter during the breakfast session. However, they did not offer any complimentary service for birthday or anniversary requests.

An Outstanding Stay at Park Royal – Comfort, Cuisine & Class Just wow! Park Royal is perfectly located for travelers, right in the heart of downtown yet wonderfully peaceful throughout the day. From the moment I arrived, the experience was seamless—the check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff were exceptionally warm, welcoming, and polite. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean, offering great comfort after a long day. The highlight of my stay was the fantastic Christmas buffet dinner, and I can confidently say that Park Royal offers one of the best breakfasts in town—delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. An added bonus was the reopening of the club within the same premises from 31st December. As a Park Royal guest, I was offered complimentary entry, which made the experience even more special. With everything nearby, excellent hospitality, and a calm atmosphere, Park Royal truly stands out. I will definitely visit again to relive these wonderful memories.

Afternoon cocktails by the pool or an evening meal by candlelight evoke the romantic grandeur of a bygone era. Whether visiting on business or leisure, guests leave with a sense of serenity and timeless elegance. Oud luxehotel - resortstijl, groot zwembad, geweldig ontbijt, ruime kamers. Ze moeten het renoveren, maar het is nog steeds erg mooi. Oh, trouwens. Het is lastig om restaurants in de buurt te vinden - wees voorbereid op een taxi voor het geval dat. Maar ze hebben een 24-uurs supermarkt op de begane grond. En - heel vreemd voor een hotel van dit niveau - er was een probleem met de executive lounge. Die stond in mijn boeking, maar ze weigerden me toegang te geven: ”Er was een fout in de kamerbeschrijving”. Jongens, het is echt niet mijn probleem, toch? Ik had geen zin in harde onderhandelingen, dus... laat het lot het maar bepalen. En ze hebben geen lokale shuttlebus (ja, er staat een fout op de website van het hotel). Haha.

這次入住的體驗非常棒！房間寬敞明亮，裝潢溫馨舒適，床鋪柔軟好睡，一覺到天亮。浴室乾淨且水壓穩定，備品齊全還附贈精緻沐浴組。服務人員親切有禮，入住時詳細介紹設施，退房時還貼心詢問是否需要叫車。飯店位置便利，周邊餐廳、超商林立，生活機能超好。整體來說，CP值超高，下次一定會再選擇這裡！

As a solo female traveler, I truly appreciated the hotel’s professional travel information and thoughtful safety reminders. They made me feel well-supported throughout my entire stay in Yangon. The staff were always kind, attentive, and ready to help whenever I had questions about transportation or places to visit. Thanks to their guidance, everything went smoothly and I felt very safe exploring the city on my own. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the view from the hotel was absolutely beautiful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other solo travelers looking for a comfortable and reliable place to stay in Yangon.

Would stay again. Great location, close to area famous landmark by walking distance. Room need sound proof due to noise from street and near by park especially on morning. Also room key needed to be updated. Like old style bulk key chain back in the 80's . Great breakfast buffet and enjoy it. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Overall, very pleased with stay.
