Crowne Plaza XIAMEN JIMEI SEAVIEW by IHG

A wonderful stay with exceptional service We had a very enjoyable stay at Crowne Plaza Xiamen Jimei Seaview. The hotel is modern, beautifully designed and very comfortable, with lovely sea views and excellent facilities. Our room was fantastic, and we were very grateful for the generous upgrade. The hotel also prepared a lovely anniversary surprise for us, which was a genuinely thoughtful touch. We particularly enjoyed the evening turndown service, something we do not encounter very often and which added a nice five-star touch to the stay. The dinner buffet was another highlight. We were impressed by both the quality and variety of the food. The 22nd-floor Executive Lounge also deserves a special mention. It is a beautiful space with wonderful views and a very relaxing atmosphere. We took quite a few photos because we enjoyed the setting so much, and it is definitely somewhere we would recommend other guests experience. Most importantly, we would like to specifically recognise Merry. She was exceptional throughout our stay — warm, professional, patient and genuinely attentive. From helping with our room arrangements to checking on us throughout the stay, we always felt that she sincerely cared about our experience. Service like this makes a significant difference and is one of the main things we will remember about this hotel. The only area that fell short for us was the Level 5 swimming pool and health club. During our stay, the pool was extremely crowded due to external swimming activities, which unfortunately made it difficult for us to use. This was particularly disappointing as the swimming pool, gym and sauna were among the reasons we specifically chose this hotel for a stay during several rainy days. However, after we shared our experience with the hotel, our feedback was received with genuine concern and handled extremely professionally. We appreciated that very much and hope management can improve this aspect, because the quality of the leisure facilities should match the otherwise excellent standard of the hotel. Overall, despite this one area for improvement, we leave with very positive memories of our stay. The modern rooms, sea views, excellent food, beautiful Executive Lounge and, above all, the outstanding hospitality we received made this a hotel we would happily consider returning to. Thank you especially to Merry and the team for taking such good care of us.

Our stay at Crown was average at best, which was a letdown given our expectations. The biggest issue was the room. We specifically booked an ocean view, but what we got was mostly a city view with just a tiny sliver of the ocean in the distance. That was really disappointing and not what we paid for. On the positive side, the housekeeping staff was wonderful—attentive, kind, and took great care of us throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff didn't leave the same impression. Overall, we found the general service to be not friendly, but not unfriendly, which was surprising for a first-time visit. I don’t know. I prefer whenever I go to hotel to see people friendly when you walk in especially after a long trip. Especially whenever you pay somewhat of a premium price for the hotel All in all, it wasn't a terrible stay, but it didn't live up to what we hoped for.

as we are anticipating frequent traveling to Xiamen this year and in the near future, we have been staying at different hotels in an attempt to find a hotel like home, Crown Plaza is the fourth hotel we have been picked for the fourth visit to Xiamen, to our good surprise, Crown Plaza is the hotel everyone wants to be - not a palace alike hotel but located at seaside with tranquil surroundings, you can feel the warm hearted treatments from the friendly front desk staff who is very professional and attentive the moment we arrived; once we checked in the rooms, the flowers on the beds, the floor matt and comfy slippers on both sides of the bed, clean and cozy and spotless beddings and mini bar makes us feel like staying in paradise, not to mention the little notes to show them care; the breakfast buffet is amazing, in particular the bakery - croissant is the best above all. this is the hotel to stay like home, we will definitely stay here for our future business trip.

The check-in process was fast and efficient. The room itself was clean, and the desk was large enough to work from comfortably.

Very good service and helpfully staff's room cleaning and equipment's very satisfied, Director Mr Erich Huang Guest Service Center Manager Mrs Eva Lin very helpfully and kindly,

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. Every staff member I met was warm, professional, and genuinely eager to help, which made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. A special thank you to my butler, Merry, who went above and beyond throughout my stay. Merry was incredibly attentive, helpful, and always made sure everything was taken care of. Their outstanding service truly made my visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Thank you to the entire team for such an exceptional experience. I look forward to staying here again!
