Xiamen Lujiang Harbourview Hotel

Ik vond dit historische, maar boetiekhotel erg leuk. Het had een sterke Nanyang-stijl en het balkon keek uit op Gulangyu, wat 's avonds een prachtig uitzicht bood. Het ontbijt van het hotel was uitstekend, ik was verrast dat er zelfs zwaluwnest en haaienvinnensoep waren! De kamer was ingericht in een verjaardagssfeer en er was een taart bezorgd, waarvoor hartelijk dank. De Zhu Yan Ji fotoshoot service van het hotel was ook erg goed, een pluim voor de fotograaf en de make-upartieste 🍗

The hotel is very pretty. The best location for Xiamen annd Gulangyu. The staff Miss Lin is extremely helpful and let us extended the checkout time. We can’t recommend anywhere else to stay!

I highly recommend the Lujiang Hotel! The customer service representative, Yanzi, provided a thoughtful and informative guided tour, delving into the history of Jia Gong’s architecture from 1958 and explaining the city’s blend of Chinese and Western influences—the Lujiang Hotel. The location is exceptional, situated near Zhongshan Road, and stepping out of the hotel takes you directly to the stunning views of Gulangyu Island. The rooms are elegant and vintage, with floral tiles harmoniously complementing the ocean views. The customer service representative, Yanzi’s, service was thoughtful, and the breakfast was authentic. Immersing yourself in the century-old charm of Lu Dao was truly worthwhile!

Incredibly beautiful building with a fantastic location on Zhonghsan Pedestrian Street. Very beautiful and relaxing rooms too. Service was fantastic. Highly recommended.

I recently stayed at Lujiang Harbourview Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The hotel has a quaint charm — the room was decorated with a lovely olden-day, vintage feel, yet it was very comfortable and well-maintained. Breakfast was a highlight, with both buffet options and à la carte dishes. We especially enjoyed sampling some of Xiamen’s local specialties. Another pleasant surprise was the daily complimentary hi-tea served at the 1958 Lobby Bar — a wonderful touch that made our afternoons extra enjoyable. The location is simply unbeatable. The start of Zhongshan Pedestrian Street is right next to the hotel, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and exploring. I spent two full days wandering around the area. 八市街 is also just around the corner, offering plenty of delicious local food options. A special shout-out to staff member 张春燕, who went above and beyond in helping us. When we were unable to book ferry tickets through WeChat as foreigners, she kindly used her personal phone to help us secure them. Truly exceptional service — 5 stars for her! Overall, Lujiang Harbourview Hotel gave us a warm and memorable stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Xiamen.
