1901年建成的酒店，整體環境是比較滿意的。寧靜的鄉村風情，Marlow有船可以遊玩，離温莎城堡和比斯特分別40-50分鐘車程，Uber在鄉下不好使，必須使用酒店合作的當地出租車。雖然這是一個很富有底藴切寧靜舒心的地方，但是服務相當老派，我給孩子點餐時因為想給孩子多點選擇於是下了兩份主食，我跟我老公不太喜歡吃酒店的餐食所以就點了一份隨便吃吃，結果服務員在我們背後説我們很奇怪，小孩點那麼多大人不吃什麼…我覺得是因為我們是外國人他們有歧視在裏面。前台説話也是陰陽怪氣的，總之很保守老派，主打一個安靜。另外，房間年代久遠，會跳閘。

Arrived exactly 49 years to the day after being posted here while in the RAF. Most of the estate sold off but house and grounds in very good state. The room was good with 3 very minor issues the worst of which was no tea bags or milk on drinks tray. Easily sorted by reception. Everything in room linked to one IT system or another. All had clocks and none told the same time or even the correct time. Restaurant food and service was very good. Ordered bottle of wine at £40 and 2 glasses of tap water. Charged £70 on bill. Tap water clearly very expensive in this Thames Water region. Ordered 2 glasses of Pinot Grigio in bar - cost £39.94! It is a nice hotel with good service, but not what I would consider good value for money.

My friend and I had a brilliant couple of days at Danesfield - from the glorious location, the airy, spacious room, fantastic food and superb spa and swimming pool, we had an absolutely fabulous time. Special mention to all the staff, who were so warm, friendly and inviting; always smiling and happy to help. We had dinner in the main restaurant on both nights and the quality was outstanding with all of our choices presented beautifully. Honestly, it was a wonderful stay and we will certainly be going back.

Even though we didn’t get married here, we seem to be drawn to this magnificent hotel for our anniversary’s. The elegance, charm and beauty on an April evening just added to the experience. We had dinner at the restaurant and I honestly felt like a VIP! The service was excellent as usual. The staff did add to the experience. We were presented with complimentary champagne and chocolates, which was a lovely gesture. The food was exquisite, presented beautifully and tasted divine, well done chef! I wish I had room for all 3 courses.

Beautiful, peaceful hotel with excellent views, food and rooms. All staff were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly throughout. It is a lovely hotel with a lot of character and the spa is well-equipped and very calming. Massage was great and overall very pleased with our stay. We will definitely be back again. Thank you!

My friend and I always do a yearly visit to danesfield for afternoon tea and massages and the spa. We’ve been doing this for over 10 years. This year we decided to stay the night also. To be honest, I’d never do this again! The check in process was a mess as they were rearranging reception so with 3 staff not really knowing what they were doing. We had requested a twin room and had it confirmed by email but when we got to room, was one bed. We rang down to question it and was told someone would be up to sort. 10 mins later we were still waiting. It was eventually separated into a twin but we had then missed nearly an hour in the spa. Massages were amazing and compliments to Carol. Spa was lovely but they were running low on robes and the one I was given was absolutely tiny and they had no replacement. I used the gym and 2 of the 3 running machines were out of order. Beds were incredibly uncomfortable, room and bathroom were very tatty. And just one small bottle of water in room for 2 was insufficient . Breakfast was lovely and the staff in restaurant were lovely. Check out was particularly unfriendly. Just took our room key and said nothing to pay. And nothing else. Not even hope you enjoyed your stay or drive safely. Very disappointed.

We stayed here for 2 nights during the Easter break. Beautiful hotel and grounds to walk around. We were checked in promptly and shown to our room. Room was modern and charming with a sky light that you could open for fresh air and a window overlooking the garden. We had afternoon tea which was very good. Delicious desserts. We ate in the restaurant the first night in the oak room which was a beautiful setting although a little expensive. Food was good. The bar area was cozy for a drink or two. The make a very good Cosmo. We had a dip in the pool and a couples massage which was good. Overall a lovely property with great service.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely relaxed hotel. Beautiful large room with very comfortable four poster bed. Extremely clean and bathroom to and I am fussy! Excellent breakfast and service could not be faulted. All staff very efficient and friendly. The hotel is in beautiful grounds and plenty of free parking. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Great location for lovely Henley, Marlow, Beaconsfield and Oxford.
