River's Edge Resort

Everything was amazing at this resort! Jodi, The Lady at the front desk was really helpful and sweet. She gave us a river front cabin with a personal hot tub on the deck which was so relaxing. Also had a stove in the living room and fully equipped kitchen. The place was super clean and quiet. The location is fantastic, walking distance from restaurants and bars. Just what we needed! Highly recommended! Thank you so much!

What a fabulous find this was! I loved the individual (detached) little cabin, nice kitchen area/sitting room, lovely sun porch, the bed was comfortable, all very clean and comfortable and well appointed. Only issue was the bedroom is at the front (by the road/pavement) and the blinds don't fully cover the gaps to the sides so when sitting in bed you can see out behind the blind! Felt a little exposed... We had a great chat with the lovely (super friendly and super helpful) lady on reception and another guest (who had stayed there multiple times). Sorry I didn't get your name but you gave me a packet of spices for fruit and I wanted to say thank you! Highly recommend this resort (but make sure you wear a night shirt!)

We loved our one-night stay at River's Edge! ~at check-in Lori was fun, personable, and informative! ~cabin quiet, quaint, clean, comfortable ~easy walking to town where you can find cute shops, restaurants, and other stores like The Wine Shed - way more than a wine shop! and Sherri's Sweet Shoppe. ~nice deck on river and private hot tub (don't wait to use these until it is too dark to see the beautiful river from the deck and hot tub) ~gas fireplace added to the ambiance and took the chill out of the air ~fully stocked kitchen and washer dryer

We stayed for 1 night. Beautiful cabin with our own private hot tub on the deck (#22). We showed up early to inform front desk that we were headed to do a hike and might be back later than 5 pm when office closes. We were pleasantly surprised that our cabin was available and we were checked in early. Bonus! The cabin is perfect for a couple. Will definitely stay here again!

We love these units - especially the cabins by the river with the hot tub. The cabins are very spacious, comfortable and have everything you need including a full kitchen. They are air conditioned which is so nice in hot hot July in Winthrop. The location is also great - easy walk into town and only 4 km to the beautiful Pearrygin Lake park/campground.

Riverside resort offers the best accommodations in all of winthrop area. H cabin is equipped with its own private hot tub on the deck. Lori who works in the office was amazing, She lives in the area and pointed me Some amazing waterfalls, She also recommended the best places to eat in the area. Which I tried 2 of them and was pleasantly surprised how good they were. Thank you again Laurie for your recommendations. This is my third time staying at river's edge. I will not stay anywhere else in winthrop. When I booked my reservation I thought I was booking directly on their website, But when I showed up to check in lori informed me that I did not. When I did an internet search I clicked on the button that said it was river's edge website, In actuality, It steered me to booking dot com. They added a hundred and eighty five dollars to the overall booking which said was for cleaning taxes, And other miscellaneous fees. That was very irritating, But all in all I had an amazing, and very relaxing stay. I will be back. Thank you again laurie

These cabins are warm and inviting with a big deck with a private hot tub. They can be enjoyed by a couple or family. The Winthrop location is walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars and driving distance to beautiful Eastern Washington rivers, lakes and vistas.

Spent 6 nights in 2 bedroom deluxe on River. View of River was great, including ducks and deer. Jacuzzi was hot and well maintained very relaxing after day of xc skiing. Methow Valley XC trail system within 5 minutes. Restaurants and shops are 1/2 block away. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for a gourmet cook and nice dining table for 4. Felt very private even with neighboring cabins in close proximity. With all the snow parking was a little tight as we had full size SUV. Wi-Fi was down for a day but was promptly fixed. Beds comfy, everything clean, washer dryer in unit a plus. Would rate 9 out of 10. Best location in Winthrop!

My sisters and I were looking forward to a three night stay at a three bedroom cabin at River’s Edge Resort. Unfortunately, our cabin reservation was canceled due to flooding that had taken place in the spring, and renovations were not yet complete. Our reservation was made in January, before the flooding. Flights had been booked. I understand that the flooding and subsequent damage was certainly not the fault of the resort. However we should’ve been informed at that time that there would be a possibility that our cabin would not be ready so that we could make contingency plans. Instead, we were given three weeks notice before our reservation start date and a short list of other places to try. We called every single one of those places and every single one was booked. Again, we understand that the flooding was beyond the control of the resort. But other than giving us a worthless list they make no effort to try and help us secure a reservation elsewhere. Weekends are a very busy time in Winthrop in September and we ended up having to book through VRBO and paid quite a bit more for quite a bit less. if Rivers Edge had given us notice much earlier or had provided us with help, we would be happy to try and book there again for another trip another time. They did absolutely nothing to entice us to rebook…not even a 5 penny discount on future stay. Very poor customer service. Make that nonexistent customer service.
