Gorgeous property!! The staff was awesome. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. We ate lunch at the Hobnob Restaurant in the hotel and loved our server and our food. If I ever return to Des Moines, I’ll definitely stay here!!

This was an amazing boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Des Moines. The old hotel had been renovated while keeping all of the wonderful unique custom touches of a historic hotel. There were also wonderful updates in design and comfort. The hotel staff were incredibly kind and welcoming and we had amazing drinks at their bar and some great lattes in the morning at their restaurant. We loved our stay

I really liked the vintage look of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and very nice. My only complaint is that breakfast is an extra charge and a bit overpriced.

I stayed 1 night on a business trip. Checked in at 8 pm and out at 7:30 a.m. Shower and bed were amazing. I didn't have time to eat at either of the restaurants. Hotel was lovely. Everything was clean.

Lovely historic hotel with very good restaurant/bar and large comfortable room. Helpful, friendly staff. Very cool speakeasy with craft cocktails that you use a "secret" door to access.
Negatives but not very troublesome: I had a view of the parking deck, so that wasn't great, and I noticed they charged $30 for parking but the parking lot was empty, so there's that, but I wasn't driving anyway and may have been because of the weather.
I was there during a storm so couldn't get a cab/uber from airport but lucked out as the hotel was picking up someone else and graciously offered to get me. That was a big deal!!

Room was clean and temperature was great in the room. Enjoyed the Kitchenette with the plates and silverware and cups. Nice to have those options when staying.

Everything was perfect! The staff was amazing, the rooms were large and very comfortable. For a superior experience, this is definitely the place to stay!
