The shopkeeper was very enthusiastic and generous, the check-in was smooth and pleasant.
The manor is in a good location, quiet & beatutiful, you can walk to most of the scenic spots in Winchester.
The breakfast was delicious, and we also met other friendly customers to enjoy a good breakfast together. A highly recommended B&B.

Really good location within walking distance to town. Beautiful property with lots of quirky features that added to character. Our hosts were really nice and had a good chat with Rosie during breakdown. I would say the only negative was the bed. I found it a bit too hard for my comfort level and struggled to sleep but it was only for one night so was ok ; )

Good location in a quiet spot with very helpful owners. Spacious room with everything you need.
Rustic feel to the place with some interesting and curios decor. Good breakfast, though not a full English.

We absolutely loved our stay at St. John's Croft! Such a dreamy setting for a very lovely home. Our room was gorgeous and had a beautiful view of the garden and town beyond. Zoe's breakfast was delicious! Winchester is one of my favorite places and I know we will be back--and now we have found the perfect place to stay.

We found the double bed to be rather small and the mattress too firm for our liking but our room had an additional more comfortable single bed which we got made up.

We had absolutely no complaints except for the lack of en suite, although the bathroom was private and a short distance from our room.
