Clean, looks antique yet the facilities are very modern. Warm enough for about 0 degree weather. Nice and comfort stay for all ages from child to elderly. Cooking utensils are well equipped that would be very sufficient for self cooking breakfast and dinner. Highly recommended.

Location 8/10: close to the JR station where the buses are as well. close to a convenient store where you can buy all your necessities. for those who wants to take a taxi, there's one station nearby. Restaurants are a little too far, the closest sento is a little too far. Staff 8/10: mostly self services, teas and water and other stuff near the check in counter. they have staff to clean your beds for your, if you wish (open or close the door to your bed in the morning). facilities 5/5: Shower, sinks, and toilets are very clean. They provide the towels for every night you stay there.

Beautiful hotel, the rooms were really special in their own ways. The one I stayed in was relatively spacious for Japan standards, and the views of the sea were stunning. Amenities were adequate, sheets and pillows smell fresh and clean. They provide pyjamas as well! The highlights of this hotel is the super spacious, clean and new bathroom with a tub that automatically fills itself to 42 degrees Celsius water as well as the back door of the hotel leads directly to the private beach area that is quiet and peaceful. Not to forget the restaurant area with beautiful views as well! Service was friendly, English was minimal but good enough. Location is slightly inaccessible without a car but the quiet surrounding makes up for it.

The hotel is situated at a secluded corner of Wakayama prefecture. It is much preferable to drive here rather than relying on the infrequent hotel shuttle. Public transport is otherwise non existent. There are no restaurants around the hotel. However the hotel provides delicious meals with abundant fresh seafood. The in room dining experience is superb. The hotel staff service is impeccable. The room has a spectacular sea view allowing you to see the sunset on clear days. The onsen also faces the sea which provides a relaxing experience. A downside is that the hotel does not seem to sanitize the slippers for indoor use. All hotel guests had to change to their slippers to access their indoor facilities.

Het hotel ligt op loopafstand (ongeveer 7-8 minuten) van het treinstation en de bushalte voor de bus naar Kansai Airport. De kamer was compact, maar brandschoon en erg stil. De eigenaar was uitzonderlijk vriendelijk en behulpzaam; hij hielp geduldig met het uitzoeken van mijn verdere reisroute. Omdat ik problemen had met mijn been, bood hij me een gratis fiets aan. Bij mijn vertrek bracht hij me zelfs met zijn privéauto naar het station en hielp hij met het kopen van mijn treinkaartje. Een accommodatie met een uitstekende prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. Ik zal hier de volgende keer zeker weer verblijven!

From the moment we stepped into the elevator adorned with personalized name cards, my husband and I were enveloped in the warm embrace of hospitality. The attention to detail and the genuine kindness of the staff made us feel like VIP guests. They also thoughtfully provided a bucket for us to indulge in the glowing enchantment of firecrackers and even tidied the mess up afterwards. But the best memory of our stay here was definitely the culinary experience given by the chef extraordinaire — Master Chef Matsuki. His creations were nothing short of a gastronomic revelation. Each dish was a testament to his unwavering dedication and profound respect for the ingredients. Oh, the flavors — titillating all our taste buds in every bite. And the generosity of Chef Matsuki in sharing his culinary wisdom, guiding us on how to savor each morsel, elevated the entire dining experience to sheer perfection. The language barrier was no obstacle to the remarkable team of staff members who graced us with their presence. Their command of the English language was commendable, and even those who were not entirely fluent went above and beyond to cater to our every whim and need. Their genuine desire to assist us was palpable, leaving us feeling truly valued and cared for. I am already making plans to return with my beloved family, as I know they too deserve to bask in the unparalleled warmth and luxury that this establishment exudes. This hotel has set the bar impossibly high, redefining the meaning of hospitality and creating memories that will be cherished for a lifetime. So if you seek a hotel experience that transcends mere accommodation and transforms into a symphony of opulence, impeccable service, and culinary artistry, then look no further. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The room I stayed in was very large, with a large bed, clean, and well furnished with amenities. The room I stayed in definitely had a style or theme which made my stay more interesting. I didn't need to interact with the staff very much, but they were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to others and would consider staying here again on my next trip.

Fabulous seaside view and nice Japanese traditional style onsen with Seaview. They also switch male and female side every day so you can enjoy both onsen in one trip. Their check out time is 10am and check in around 15:00 so the time you can enjoy is a little limited. But I would recommend you take the breakfast and dinner inclusive to have the whole experience and it is quite far away from any food and no convenient transport except transfer to city center every morning.

The toilet is too small. Not many facilities except the very basic things. No breakfast provided even there is a nice small cafe in the hostel.
