Somewhere Vouliagmeni

Our experience was so different to our expectations... Firstly on a major plus side, this is a beautiful intimate hotel with lovely staff who wish to make your experience memorable. Its located in the very  buzzy area of town just off a very busy main road. We had a marvellous view of the bay. However we had a terrible night's sleep due to the ongoing traffic that went on into till the early hours of the morning. We had read somewhere the rooms were soundproofed but the reoccurring highly revved vehicles constantly woke us up. It was a very busy bank holiday but this main road is always busy. Secondly as it was March the air con was not available so a hot room made things worse. We did not dare open the balcony window because of the noise. I also found the mattress very uncomfortable and simply too firm. I know many reported a very comfortable sleep but I suffered with lower back pain the following day. This is a very individual issue. Sadly the breakfast was also dissapointi g. The cooked food was excellent but at breakfast our fruit selection was limited to a bruised plum and a hard pear. It's a small hotel but more fresh fruit selection should be on offer. The staff were very kind in wishing to try and resolve the issue but the noise was outside their control. It is thus sadly impossible to give a good review.

very bad behavior from the hotel staff and managers, they are not interested in serving their customers. there is a general strike in Athens that's why you can't travel, I asked them for the money back or to transfer my reservation and they refused.

Should have done this a long time ago, writing in feb 24, visitied oct 23. Most low-key awesome place we've at which we've stayed. Everyone so kind and attentive, can't thank them enough. Breakfast is a treat. As is lunch. Thanks especially to Stavros, Sofia and Marilyn.

Very pleasant hotel outside of Athens. Good size room and bathroom. Friendly and helpful service. Super nice neighborhood for walking around to restaurants and nice family homes. Also close to beach. Good access to airport for early flight on last day. Restaurant also was excellent. Overall very good experience.

Somewhere is a wonderful hotel, the staff, the amenities, the location, the food, and rooms are all outstanding. From the moment we arrived Stravous and staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was excellent. We stayed in a suite which was large and well equipped, perfect blackout curtains. Breakfast was amazing, so close to the beach and excellent restaurants. Cabs were readily arranged by the hotel. if you can do stay here you won't be disappointed. The only down side was having to leave.

We have been to many hotels around the world, but this one was remarkable! The service was impeccable, room comfortable, breakfast delicious! We would return in a heartbeat and recommend this place to anyone in this area. Staff was wonderful, pool was great, and only a block from the beach and restaurants. Can’t wait to return!!

Quite simply one of the most wonderful hotels we have ever stayed in. We were told when we arrived it was not a hotel but "home". We were most certainly treated like family and nothing was ever too much trouble. I am not going to single out any member of staff as EVERYONE was simply amazing - never encountered such service anywhere. The junior suite was immaculate, superb housekeeping, the pool area divine and the food, stunning. The breakfast especially could never be beaten. We have never been so sorry to leave "somewhere".

Wonderful small, boutique hotel…. Like staying at someone’s private chic villa. Couldn’t be more relaxing and hospitable from the moment we walked in until checkout. While we didn’t stay in the Penthouse (Stravos show it to us for our next visit!), it’s worth every Euro for the view and amazing outdoor space including a jacuzzi. Location is great with many restaurants and bars nearby. Highly recommend the Somewhere!

Clean comfortable family run hotel with kind and pleasant staff always keen to make your stay enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfasts were generous in portion size and high in quality with freshly squeezed juices and good coffee. The room was large with a huge comfortable bed and housekeeping kept the room and bathroom clean and well stocked. There were comfortable cabanas at the hotel poolside and the hotel provided us with beach towels and booked taxis as required. On the weekend the air conditioning was too quiet to drown out road noise from the local boy-racers and so the hotel put a fan in our room to create some white noise to help us sleep. We considered our stay to be great value.
