Wij vonden het erg leuk. Omdat je in Afrika normaal gesproken toch niets te voet doet, is de ligging prima. Je hoeft de ‘stad’ van de plaats niet per se vaak te bezoeken. Een taxi kost 5 USD. De ontvangst en service zijn zeer goed. Vriendelijk en attent. De lunch- en dinerkaart van het restaurant is voldoende en goed. Een zeer mooie, goed onderhouden tuin en een zwembad maken de positieve indruk compleet. Al met al een echte aanrader.

Good Lodge, ook al is het iets te ver van het centrum, het gebruik van een taxi, hoewel goedkoop, is verplicht. Ruime en comfortabele kamers, prettige service en goede keuken, hoewel een beetje beperkt in keuze. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

Verblijf van één nacht in deze lodge, weg van de hoofdweg in een rustige omgeving. Vriendelijke ontvangst, met suggesties voor verschillende activiteiten in de regio. Correcte accommodatie in een weelderige tuin. Goed onderhouden zwembad. Het personeel luistert naar onze verzoeken. Klein minpunt: geen gratis flessen water op de kamer. Dit etablissement is daarom perfect als uitvalsbasis om de regio te bezoeken.

If you’re visiting Victoria Falls you won’t beat the Bayete Guest Lodge. Superb stay with family and friends for a nearby wedding. We felt really pampered.The rooms were excellent. Clean, smart with decent air con. We had breakfast included and it was really good. We also had dinner here most nights and it was top drawer and reasonably priced. The pool area is neat and well maintained. The star of the show here is the staff team. Always a smile and no request is met with dismay, only how they can help. We came to Vic Falls with a large wedding group who stayed all over town. The Bayete came out very favourably compared to the other hotels-and this came from other guests who visited us, not just our opinion. Highly recommended.

We spent five days at Bayete Lodge. The service was superb and the staff made us feel like part of the "family". They gave us good advice about visiting attractions and they also made some good bookings for us. Our room was clean and comfortable and meals at Bayete were good. We enjoyed the pool set in the green lush garden. I would highly recommend Bayete to anyone wishing to visit the area.

Only stayed one night, wish it was more as it was a bit of a rush to see the falls the next day after a late arrival. Thank-you to lovely Zoe for two things - she helped us get an expensive sleep machine back when my husband left it in our tranfer van. Also for letting us have a late check out so we could see Victoria Falls early in the morning from 8.00 - 10.00, which we managed to do. Totally enjoyed everything about our stay including the tropical gardens, great food in the restaurant, especially loved the decor. Room was tastefully decorated and roomy. Service impeccable, would highly recommend staying there.

Rooms basic but clean and had everything we needed. The staff were fantastic, and very knowledgeable about all the tour options. the food was great, and the little shop a very short walk down the road was very convenient. Pool and surrounding area was good.

We stayed here for 3 nights during our visit to vic falls. It is about a 30 min walk from town (though we were discouraged to walk and only take a taxi) Taxi's are 5$ each way or wherever you want to go it's the same price within the town limits. Our room was not ready when we arrived however we did arrive earlier than check in and they were preparing it as we came in. We had lunch once and breakfast everyday. They were very accomadating in terms of dietary restrictions. though they did not have an alternative for cow milk which was surprising. The staff were extremly helpfull and polite. The place is very relaxing and safe. We enjoyed our stay very much

We booked into Bayete for a relaxing 4 days which involved some sightseeing in & around Victoria Falls as well as a sunset dinner cruise (highly recommended) We were greeted so genuinely, & throughout our stay the friendly & knowledgeable staff could not do enough for us. Even when I missed breakfast due to golf at Elephant Hills, the charming Charles quickly arranged an omelette to be made for me. The rooms were spacious, clean & comfortable. A huge rainfall shower is a welcome addition after a busy day sightseeing. Special mentions to Chris & Freedom (behind the well stocked bar), Josephat the talented chef & Alan for booking our dinner cruise. Overall, a 5 star experience at a very reasonable price. We will definitely return.
