501 Hotel

Het was oke .... een beetje achterhaald. Het bad was spectaculair en enorm met veel warm water. Het ontbreken van airconditioning was een probleem. De voorgerechten waren goed, de voorgerechten van tonijn en kalfsvlees waren te gaar.

Absolutely shattered after a long day cycling to Vibo, really friendly efficient check in and then a super nice bartender ( rocksi I think ) who went out of her way to make me a sandwich as the kitchen was closed, then negotiated the restaurant opening 30 mins early for me so I could eat and sleep ready for tomorrows ride. Really kind and very much appreciated ! Superstar

The room was beautiful, luxurious and comfortable. Our view was an ugly terrace and parking. We had plenty of nice towels, something I appreciate very much. Dinner was delicious. Breakfast was good, but when things ran out, they weren't replaced easily. To get a cup of coffee or hot water we had to wait in a queue for one woman to give it to us. That was disturbing because we were on a schedule and had people waiting for us.

Appalling breakfast, room was cold, water was cold for a bath and the staff just dismiss feedback, the food in the restaurant was almost inedible, the environment is very pleasant, clean and attractive fail to make the experience a good one so disappointing.

We arrived and the ac was out it was 34 degrees and to hot we had to relocate.

Un Hôtel anni 70, grande, maestoso in certi ambienti, con finiture di qualità anche se, negli spazi comuni si vede l’impostazione anni 70. Le stanze sembrano nuUn albergo completo e di qualità superiore,una buona prima colazione-un suggerimento:una macchinetta per il caffè all’americana costa poco ma da un gran servizio- completa sia in dolce che in salato ed una sala ristorante all’altezza dell’hotel. Era un bell’hotel negli anni 70. È rimasto pressoché uguale. E non è un complimento. A parte la struttura che meriterebbe una revisione più decisa di quella che sostengono di aver effettuato anni fa, i servizi forniti non sono più all’altezza di un albergo decoroso. In camera per due un solo asciugamano e un solo telo bagno. Pensavamo ad un errore, ma anche i nostri amici nell’altra stanza hanno avuto analogo trattamento. In sala colazione, nessuno ad accoglierti e quando ti avvicini al banco per chiedere un cappuccino, gli addetti ti ignorano continuando allegramente la loro conversazione. Il phon in bagno è di potenza appena sufficiente per asciugare lentamente, non certo per modellare i capelli con la spazzola. Il kit di benvenuto è limitato all’essenziale. Non pensate nemmeno per un attimo a delle ciabattine. In frigobar due solitarie bottigliette d’acqua. Nei corridoi moquette lisa e in alcuni punti addirittura strappata. Sito web “in costruzione” (da chissà quando e chissà per quanto ancora). In conclusione, da hotel rinomato ad hotel decadente e assolutamente non adeguato alle sue 4 stelle. Chi vi alloggia può ben pensare che la Calabria deve fare un salto di qualità in fatto di accoglienza professionale. Urgentemente.

Hotel con Vista sul Golfo di Sant’Eufemia E sul Tirreno sino a Stromboli. Bella la piscina, stanze ampie e comode ma la Moquette ormai andrebbe sostituita. Colazione di livello medio basso (e mancano prodotti salati magari anche locali), bene invece la Sala Congressuale.
