I booked a single room and upon checking in they tell me its a shared bathroom. Im 50 years old, if i wanted to stay in a hostel I would’ve done so. To add insult to injury the room is unbearably hot. After using the shared shower i need another because sweat is literally pouring off of me as the room is so hot. The receptionist acknowledged the air conditioning in the room doesn’t work but just says sorry there’s nothing I can do. I request a fan to try to get through the night and he tells me they have no more when I’m looking at an oscillating fan blowing on him. Reception is only open til midnight and its 11pm and I can’t have the fan. This is why you always use credit cards when traveling. This bill will be disputed and I’m on my way to the airport for my 11 am flight.

My husband and I finally made a trip to Venice and everything was fantastic. Regarding the hotel our review is very favorable. It's a clean, well-lit place, very coveniently located, with a great staff. We were delighted to meet Griselda at the reception desk and follow her advice every day. She is always willing to help with impecable manners and a winning smile. The lady who does the rooms, Mirela, is also super friendly and hard working. We will definitely choose Hotel Alla Fava if we return.

I booked a room with a bath, because you always have to read the description of what you are booking, and the room was just what I needed. It was very clean, the staff was nice, I'd stay there again.

Hotel was old but well-maintained. The room was small, but comfortable. The staff was friendly, polite and helpful. Hotel is in a wonderful central location and very easy to walk to the different points of interest in Venice.

Great allocation easy from Rialto stop
Bit noisy but very helpful staff who let us store luggage both befor and after checking in and out

Great place to discover venice, all you need is arrivable by foot.
Nice and friendly employees at the hotel.
Rooms are tiny but really sweet, everything was clean and functionable.

The staff were great My room is as about the same size as a small shed.. It smells of dust, no windows were open.. No wardrobe or drawers to put my clothes in. 2 hangers and 2 chairs I wouldn’t choose this room again..
