Hotel Palazzo Vitturi

Boutique hotel set in a great location walkable to all the major sights. 10 mins to nearest vaparetto stop. 30 mins walk to the train station or the bus depot. Rooms are clean and layout of a junior suite was perfect for our family of 4, with 2 young adults. Bathroom renovated. Heating was adequate as the evenings are still cool in March. The common floor balcony was accessible to sit and overlooks the square, which had great restaurants and vegetable stand. The breakfast included in the rate had a great delicious variety. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Bags were held for free in a common room after our check out bc we had more sightseeing to do before leaving the island. Price for one night was a bit steep considering other similar options but overall pleased with entire stay. Definitely would come back if have the opportunity.

We decided on doing a crazy last minute weekend trip to Venice & this hotel stood out by far it was in a great location they kindly arranged a water taxi for us (at a charge) so we arrived in style The hotel itself was very modern our room was soo spacious elegant venetian style had a comfortable sleep put it that way i have a disability and the hotel was very accomdating with operating there lift for me making sure i got in & out okay on the last day they even rang a few places for us from where my husband could hire a foldable wheelchair as my legs gave way on the last day.. All in all i definitely recommend this hotel i cannot remember the girls name on reception but ever so welcoming and helpful It is also located in the middle of a market/shops few coffee/food shops too. This hotel was closely situated to main attractions around 7-10 min walks to St Marks Square & Rialto Bridge around 20 min walk to Grand Canal.

My wife and I booked a weekend away and chose this hotel for its location to the main attractions like Rialto Bridge (5 mins) and Piazza San Marco often known in English as St Mark's Square (5 mins). You can even get a Gondola ride in the square where the hotel is (which we did and it was lovely). The hotel is boutique and the staff are all very friendly and go out of their way to help you with your stay. Breakfast is also very good and their are lots of choices depending on your preferences for breakfast. Rooms are large, well maintained and the hotel is very quiet, so you are guaranteed a good night sleep. Lots of lovely affordable restaurants and bars around the hotel. Will definitely be booking here again.

Prior to arrival the communication with the hotel was brilliant and they arranged a private taxi at our request from the airport which was a great way to arrive. The hotel is situated well to explore Venice. Book in was pleasant however on arrival to room we had no towels. Requested some at reception and we were met with some disbelief that there wasn’t any that I almost felt I had to show them the room to prove it. On our first morning went to make a coffee in the room however coffee machine appeared to have a piece missing and pod just fell straight through. No big deal we will have coffee at breakfast. Unfortunately breakfast was as only as we can describe as chaos…waited a while for crockery to appear and selection of food was lacking and the second morning we couldn’t even get a table so we walked out the dining area and not one member of staff asked if they could assist us so for the remaining days we had breakfast out of the hotel. We did have an accident where a glass of wine was accidentally knocked over by our son and splashed down what we can only describe as a very porous wall and despite moving very quickly to clean it unfortunately stained the wall. Something to keep in mind if you stay here with children as they do have Coke amongst other drinks in the mini fridge in room (which they charge you for) which would probably equally stain walls if they were accidentally spilt. We did take full responsibility for this however we were shocked at the €300 charge!!! However as you can see from bathroom photos that there was already damage to the walls and some inadequate fixings/lack of parts that they deemed as acceptable for us as guests. We contacted the hotel when we returned and sent them photos where Michele the General Manager acknowledged that our experience and quality of the room was below standard and our €300 would be refunded as well as a complimentary nights stay as they prided themselves on customer service. Unfortunately we have never received our refund. So all in all a disappointing end to a stay in a far from perfect hotel that claim they pride themselves on customer service.

Fabulous location , great room, an array of breakfast options, staff were just the best, friendly and extremely helpful. 5 min walk to Rialto and 20 min walk to Palazzo San Marco. We will be returning asap. Just couldn’t fault it in any way.

The hotel is lovely! The staff is so helpful. Before we arrived, Giulia fixed our reservation problem and helped us choose a delicious restaurant for dinner. We would absolutely stay here again. It is a quick walk to stores and busier areas near the Rialto bridge. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and remarkably quiet. A perfect combination of an historic Venetian property with modern conveniences.

Amazing hotel from start to finish. Fantastic communication and full of staff with the knowledge and expertise of the area to be able to book transfers and hotels before arriving. Traditional style rooms and shared balcony to overlook the square. Cleaned daily. Flexible with check out time and a real welcoming feel. Breakfast was included in the price. Thank you for the perfect hotel to base ourselves on this trip

Lovely hotel with excellent staff. Wonderful breakfast. Terrific location- can walk to everything!! Highly recommend staying here. Don’t let exterior fool you- it is on an old charming piazza- Venice style palazzo exterior. Beautiful rooms.

Staff was very helpful in assisting with water taxi transportation. A nice breakfast bar was included during our stay. There is a fantastic restaurant right in front of the hotel in addition to a great place for lunch via staff recommendations(sorry forget restaurant names) I would recommend this hotel with an FYI there are no elevators they have a lift to bring your luggage to your room.
