Without a doubt the most beautiful hotel we have stayed in. Service was outstanding and the atmosphere matched the stunning location. 5 stars all day...we miss the place already. There was a heatwave across Italy so the air conditioning was a life saver. Fantastic view, Calm morning coffees looking out onto the canals with passers by waving as we smiled ans relaxed. Beds were very comfey and decor to die for. Just perfect. Thankyou, thankyou....Grazia!

We spent five nights at Console Palais in late July 2025 with our extended family of six, including one person using a wheelchair, and everything about our stay exceeded expectations. From the moment we booked, Catarina (the owner) was incredibly helpful—answering logistical questions, helping us plan our arrival, and making sure everything was ready for our group. The whole staff was lovely, and we’d like to give a special mention to Dorina, who was always friendly and kind as she helped us in the mornings. The hotel itself is a hidden gem: elegant, peaceful, and full of character, located in a charming part of Venice just a short walk from San Marco. We had stunning views of the canal, and some of our favorite moments were spent in the beautiful shared lounge area. With the large door opening directly onto the canal, we could sit and watch gondolas pass by just a few feet away. The whole atmosphere was relaxed, intimate, and uniquely Venetian. The rooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated, and the layout worked perfectly for our group. The accessibility was excellent, with features that made our stay smooth and stress-free for our relative in a wheelchair. We felt truly welcomed and taken care of throughout our stay. We highly recommend Console Palais to anyone traveling with family—or with accessibility needs—who wants to enjoy the authentic charm of Venice without compromising on comfort or location. Stayed July 2025, traveled with family

We were taken care of so well from the time we arrived until we left. Beautiful room overlooking the canal. Spacious and it felt as if we had most of tv e spaces to ourselves. Quiet, and well appointed spaces. Our visit to Venice was made the more pleasant by the owners of Console Palais- Catarina, her husband and their son Alvise were always available to help from recommending restaurants, finding the birthday surprise cakes and bookings to simply showing genuine interest in us. We would certainly book this place again.

I visited Locanda Ca del Console with my dad as he lives in Germany and I live in the US and decided to meet in Venice. We could not thank Ca' del Console enough for a wonderful stay and experience! We felt at home with the owner Caterina and her son Alvise, they were hospitable, friendly, and super helpful in suggesting great things to do. I highly recommend booking a private boat tour with Alvise to get an official city tour (not the super touristy activity) and get a glimpse of real life of the city and beauty of Venice. Alvise is a art and history passionate and he will explain fan facts along your boat tour. We loved the decor of the hotel and the location is perfect. Every time we will come to Venice this family owned hotel will be our home away from home. Grazie Grazie Grazie

The property is cozy and elegant, with first-rate service and friendly, warm atmosphere, while providing complete privacy and freedom.

Everyone that works at this hotel was very helpful due to the Fall my wife had 2 hours after we arrived in Venice on Oct. 08, 2024. They allowed me to use their phone and computer as much as I needed. Today is Oct.17th and she is still in the hospital at this time with no release date being mentioned at this time

A beautiful place to stay for my first trip to Venice. The room was clean, the bedding was perfect. Coffee and croissant in the morning sitting overlooking the canal. The overall ambience of the property was wonderful. I will most definitely be returning.

Stayed here for a few days with two kids. It was really ideal for us. It had the right look and feel for a trip to Venice. On the water, old building and the rooms have kept the old world feel. Best way to arrive it by water taxi from the airport, kids loved it. Location is hard to beat- right between the square and the bridge, with all kinds of little plaza's and canals all around for photo opportunities. Easy walking to anywhere you need to go, or for just wandering and exploring. Rooms were comfortable and quiet at night. We had a garden view the first 2 days and changed to a canal view the last two days. Both great- the better view of the canal offset a bit with the mosquitos from the water. If we return I'd probably stick with the garden side. Service was OK. There is a little, very basic breakfast provided in the garden, but you really don't see much of the staff throughout the rest of the day. There is a wonderful place to eat facing the hotel across the canal. But there are really places all around to have great meals. Not luxury, but it was absolutely perfect for what we wanted.
