Wij waren verrast tijdens lunch een leeg terras bij Gritti aan te treffen. Ondanks dat was de service perfect; wij hebben genoten van een heerlijke lunch; voor mij gevulde aubergine met ricotta en een pasta met rauwe garnalen. Voor mijn man spider crab en ravioli. Daarna een sorbet een koffie. De prijs is fors (bijna €300 voor lunch incl 2 glazen wijn per persoon) maar wij vonden het een bijzondere ervaring tijdens ons dagje Venetie. Het gebouw en interieur zijn bijzonder en uniek om eens te bekijken!

Ja dit is een heel goed hotel wij waren hier 3 nachten mooie kamers niet groot maar alles is aanwezig het hotel is zeer gezellig ingericht het ontbijt was absoluut heerlijk de zon scheen en we ontbijten op het prachtige teras dit was heerlijk een ding het diner vonden wij niet zo goed de risotto met scampi was in een gemiddelde brasserie beter zeer droog zonder enige inspiratie klaargemaakt mijn vrouw had vis welke ook niet super was we zijn in het hotel Bauer ook gaan dineren en vonden dit veel beter de bediening was wel top het aperitief word ook veel aandacht aan geschonken met lekkere hapjes erbij komen wij hier nog terug ja zeker

What a wonderful experience! My wife and I went to visit friends in Italy. The hotel reached out to me ahead of time asking about any special requests or other needs. We arrived early after flying from the US; I had no expectation of our room being ready. We were given a Grand Canal view room. There were fresh flowers and a bottle of Prosecco in the room. The staff is one of the best I have experienced. Not only would they remember my name and room number, but they would remember my drink order. I went to get my wife a coffee on the second day and the hostess asked if I wanted, "a cafe Americano to go" before I could say anything. Truly a special experience.

Amazing Hotel, great service and great Restaurants! Delicious Breakfast! Great Dinner and very good Martinis in the Bar!. We will definitely return here! The Rooms with great size and the bathroom is amazing. Also very good room service!

A very special hotel with excellent service . Gorgeous rooms and wonderful food Sitting on the deck and watching the world go by is beyond wonderful The food in the restaurant is delicious and the service is excellent We used the water taxi to and from the airport was a lovely experience

Excellent hotel with a fantastic feeling of staying in an ancient palazzio. Great location, 10 mins walk to the main sights and museums of Venice. Excellent breakfasts and generally a great home cooked restaurant for lunches and dinners. Friendly and professional staff. Would recommend. Best wishes. Vladimir

The Gritti Palace is a credit to La Dominante - graced with staff that demonstrate a finesse and attentiveness that seem to be such rare qualities. From pre-arrival arrangements, to a most hospitable greeting from Charlie, this was a stay for the ages. Great thanks for the arrangements that Paolo and Michela put into place prior to arrival, as well as Charlie, who provided such a warm reception and tour of the hotel and suite. Paolo should take great pride in the staff he's assembled, as well at the addition of the Riva elements to the hotel. Speaking of warm receptions, the Coppa Volpi Suite was prepared most kindly with a welcome arrangement of flowers, fruit and champagne. It also provided a much needed private place of relaxation at one of the high points of the season. The Riva Lounge was a delight, and Club del Doge kindly provided a front row table for a delightful sendoff dinner. Transfers were arranged without a hitch. One is reminded of the words of one of Venice’s great writers: "We Venetians give our heart to strangers. We like to treat strangers in such a way that they will all give better reports of Venice than of their own home towns." The Venetian Twins Act 1, Scene 13 Carlo Goldoni Give it a go, you’ll very likely return.

We stayed for two nights at the beautiful Gritti Palace in October. From the moment we arrived, the staff immediately took care of us. We were upgraded to one of the suite facing the lagoon before our arrival because of my Ambassador elite. The concierge was excellent, he was able to secure a dinner reservation for us at a very popular restaurant in Venice. We were so grateful for the experience. We had breakfast, lunch and evening drinks at the Gritti Palace during our stay and we loved all of the offers there. Venice is magnificent and this hotel truly adds luxury to the experience.

Very beautiful property and historic! If you have a chance to stay here you absolutely should! The rooms are big and spacious and the food was amazing! Front desk area is full of amazing history, sculptures!
