Hotel Villa Cipressi, by R Collection Hotels

Dit hotel ligt aan de rand van het Comomeer, in het centrum van het kleine stadje Sorrento.Het is een oude villa, op een steenworp afstand van de kerk en de klokkentoren in het centrum van de stad. "De stad is klein, maar erg mooi. Het is gebouwd naast het Comomeer. Er is een berg naast en er is een kasteel op de berg. Het duurt een halve dag om de hele stad rond te lopen. Je kunt het kasteel beklimmen en het landschap van het Comomeer overzien. Omgeving: De omgeving is echt prachtig. Het raam opent naar het Comomeer. Sla linksaf als je uitgaat en je bent in het centrum van de stad. Het is erg handig om te eten. Hygiëne: De badkamer is in goede staat, met een doucheruimte, de vloertegels zijn erg artistiek, het beddengoed is goed en het bed is super groot. Faciliteiten: De kamer boven het kasteel is een zolder en de benedenverdieping is een restaurant. Het is een beetje lawaaierig als de ober 's ochtends het ontbijt klaarmaakt. De faciliteiten zijn relatief oud en het geluidsisolerende effect is gemiddeld.

Pluspunten: SCHITTEREND uitzicht en de botanische tuinen ter plaatse zijn ONGELOOFLIJK. Onvergetelijke ervaring. Nadelen: kamer was klein en erg warm bij binnenkomst. hotel ligt zeer dicht bij de kerkklokken die elk uur luiden van 07.00 uur tot 23.00 uur en luid genoeg zijn om u te laten schrikken / wakker maken. het ontbijt was voor het grootste deel teleurstellend en ze spelen luide countrymuziek in de eetzaal/lobby. Een beetje haalt je uit de Italië-ervaring imo. "Spa" was super duur en viel erg tegen. ~ 60 euro per persoon en zonder voorzieningen, slechts een uur gebruik, en het zijn maar een paar douches zonder bodywash, shampoo, enz., Een stoombad en sauna. niets bijzonders. Het bevindt zich ook in een ander hotel op ongeveer 5 minuten lopen en staat onder een hoop LUID constructie. geen geweldige ervaring.

Beautiful botanical gardens, with a lovely and (relatively cheap compared to the area) bottle of wine. The views were amazing and would definite recommend, free appetisers brought out with the drinks and great service from the team! Will be back!

During my trip to Como Lake, my group stayed in various places & hotels. The stay in Hotel Villa Cipressi, in Varenna, was the most memorable of them all. First of all, the staff is truly helpful and kind and is always willing to walk an extra mile to help and guide visitors, day and night. Secondly, this hotel stands on the most beautiful spot of them all, allowing visitors to enjoy breathtaking views over the Como Lake and surroundings. From the hotel, you can easily see all the well-known spots of Como Lake and our most beatiful pictures were all taken from this hotel. Thirdly, the garden of the hotel is truly a gemstone and is more beautiful than any of the large and famous villa gardens that can be experienced around Como Lake. If you love Como Lake, you just got to see and walk this garden. It captivates people of all ages, my kids were just as happy and intrigued by this hotel's garden as we the adults. We stayed in one hotel in Bellagio that was much more expensive and although details and decorations might have been more expensive looking at that hotel, we enjoyed Hotel Villa Cipressi much more because it was simply a better value. Don't hesitate to book your stay at this wonderful hotel. I will be back with a larger group of family and friends to enjoy this wonderful hotel.

I highly recommend hosting your wedding at Villa Cipressi. We hosted our wedding of ~50 guests there in early October and it could not have gone any better. The staff (Everyone from Marco Events Manager, Nicolette from the events team, Marco catering manager and his wife Tanya, the front desk team, etc) really worked hard to make sure things went smoothly! I was VERY impressed with the level of service provided considering how popular this venue is! Thank you so much to the team at Villa Cipressi for being such kind and hard working professionals. I especially want to say thank you to Marco catering and also his wife Tanya as they went above and beyond to make our day special. We had many vegetarians and other dietary restrictions and the team took care to make sure things went well without problems including personally serving them and confirming all dietary restrictions with us before hand. The team went above and beyond to support our wedding and I could not recommend this hotel more to host your wedding here! It is even more beautiful and well manicured than the photos. No photos will ever do it justice! The hotel rooms are updated, clean, and nice. The hotel property is central to Varenna and has a lot of great restaurants, cafes, etc all within 5 minute walking distance.

We stayed there two nights and they had. wedding on both nights. All the grounds and amenities were completely off limits starting at 2pm each day to set up and have the wedding. Clearly they prioritize events over the hotel guests. A room right below our bedroom was used as a nightclub the first night for the wedding with deafening music. When we called to complain they said “not to worry it will be over by 11pm…”. Classy. The hotel refused to partially refund us and instead offered a dinner for two for our next visit. Hilarious. Upper management barely returned our emails. Do not book there if looking for a good experience.

The noise levels throughout the hotel and in my room were absolutely horrible up until 11 PM. The room was expensive and very poor. It's as if no one at the hotel really cares.

Over 5 stars for service! I would like to specially acknowledge Nipa who was so helpful and took great care of us during our stay in Varenna. I was sick and she worked with my wife to arrange an appoin**ent with a doctor nearby. She walked with us to the clinic and helped to provide translation for me at the doctor. I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels before. Never have I ever seen someone go above and beyond to care for us. The management should be proud to have her be a part of their team. Also I would like to acknowledge Euness who was very helpful in taking care of us when the air conditioning had stopped working. Luca, Lavianna, and Nicolette at the front desk were also very kind and helpful. We had a memorable stay here at Hotel Villa Cipressi because of the stellar service we received. I will definitely recommend this hotel.
