Hotel Gran Caribe Sun Beach

I love the hotel lobby as it offers 24 hour service and is enjoyed in a friendly a**osphere. It has varied gastronomic offers and good prices. The decoration of the hotel presents a nice space to share with friends and family. I want to thank the charismatic brunette girl who prepares delicious and beautifully decorated coffees her name is Dayana very kind and charismatic.

I went to Gran Caribe last week, and I pretty much knew what to expect in Cuba, but this resort had some challenges. The resort is older, which is fine, the grounds were well taken care of. Upon arrival their internet was down, and continued to be down the next day. There was two days of a wine shortage and two days of plastic take out cup shortage. The last 2 days of my trip there was a water shortage, but speaking to other travellers on different resorts it was an island wide shortage. There’s definitely concerns about how they were able to properly prepare food without running water. Over the week I only had my towels changed once, I even had a visibly dirty towel refolded and hung back up in my bathroom as though it was clean, this was before the water shortage. The food there wasn’t the worst and definitely not the best. Cuban cuisine outside of Cuba is absolutely delicious, I wish that the resorts in Cuba stuck more to their traditional food, rather than trying to Americanize their food for the tourists, as they always fall short. The bugs were absolutely insane. I realize that there is little they can do about this but I was bitten so badly by fleas and mosquitoes, that I wanted to leave a couple of days into the trip. The beach is stunning, no complaints there. The majority of staff were amazing. Although I had no interaction with the manager, I noted that he would be at the hotel before 7am each day and stayed well into the evening. He seems very approachable and took time to speak with people. The entertainment manager was also super friendly, I saw him consistently approach customers trying to get them engaged in activities and just checking in on their stay. My last day there when speaking with one of the staff, one of the dancers overheard me talking and mimicked and made fun of me. This was the worst part of my trip and left a really bad taste in my mouth, I felt humiliated. I had quite a few entertainment staff ask me for favours all week long, and to have one of them be so disrespectful made me so happy to be leaving. There’s a huge tipping culture, and I tend to tip wherever I go, but please note that if you don’t tip consistently, some staff may not receive you well the next time. Overall the stay was just ok. Some things were out of their hands, but for the most part the staff are great.

Me gustó el hotel en general, tranquilo y las habitaciones están aceptables. La playa bien cerca 🤩🤩. Pero no había piscina y la comida a pesar de ser cerca. No era en el hotel. El personal muy amable. De igual forma disfrute la estancia.😎😎😎

Actualmente me encuentro en este maravilloso hotel,pasando unas vacaciones estupendas,mencionar al gran equipo de animación que son los mejores con mención a Grisel que nos ha ayudado mucho siempre muy atenta,sigan con el excelente trabajo, saludar a los chicos del Gym por su labor realizada,la comida del buffet super y la del Ranchon muy rica,saludos a Hanoi el capitán de la finca muy atento siempre,sigan así, recomiendo este hotel al 100%

El hotel cuenta con un exelente equipo de trabajo, se distingue por su amabilidad, laboriosidad y mucha destreza, cuenta con un bar llamado Eclipse que tiene una de las mejores vista de todo varadero.

Отдыхали с мужем с 17.10.2023 по 27.10.2023, разочарованы, по другому сказать не чего. Отелю должно быть стыдно, что они предлагают размещение, при таких ужасных условиях Описание и фото заявленные отелем не соответствуют действительности. Отель находится на ремонте, на полном ремонте, зачем делают заселение туристов? С самолете в отель прибыли в 10 часу вечера, после длительного перелета, уставшие. На ресепшене дали карточку от номера и показали где находится лифт. Идя в ночи по коридорам отеля, было не видно того, что мы наблюдали все дни отпуска, когда передвигались по отелю. Номер дали на 7 этаже с видом на океан. За это спасибо. Номер просторный, двухспальная кровать, ванна, зона умывальника и гардероба. В номере мини холодильник, гремел и трещал, как дикий трактор. Кондиционер, работал, использовали один раз, больше не нуждались. В ванной комнате огромное скопление мелких жучков, которые кишили по стенам. Дверь не закрывалась из-за расбухшего дверного откоса. Смесители старые, съеденные известковым налетом, вода текла тонкой струйкой, душ было крайне не удобно принимать. С умывальником та же история. Шторка для ванной вся в плесени. Уборка: мусор выбрасывали каждый день. Пол помыли 1 раз за неделю. Полотенец дали 2. На двух человек. И 1 пляжное полотенце. Только на 5 день, сжалились и дали еще одно пляжное полотенце. Полотенца просто так не меняли, когда оставляли 1€ получали чистые и сухие полотенца, без денег-вытирайся одним и тем же, при условии, что сушить их не где. Постельное белье сменили 1 раз за неделю Кровать большая, мягкая, удобная. Дополнительно были 2 подушки и теплый плед, мы их не использовали. А теперь о самом главном: Услуги и удобства в отеле Wi-Fi в местах общего пользования, только платный за 1$ час, евро принимать отказались Бассейн на ремонте Бар/лаунж на ремонте лежаки и зонты на пляже платно Игровая комната на ремонте Аренда автомобилей отсутствует Открытый бассейн на ремонте Зона с мелким дном в бассейне на ремонте Ресторан на ремонте Завтрак по типу "шведский стол" отсутствует Буфет на ремонте Бар у бассейна отсутствует Бильярд, стол был, всего остального оборудования не было Дартс отсутствует Аниматоры отсутствует Вечерние развлечения отсутствует Настольный теннис отсутствует Ночной клуб/диджей- ахахах даже смешно, отсутствует Массаж на ремонте Массажное кресло не видела Хранение багажа, после выселения (12-00) чемоданы можно оставить в специально отведенной комнате Шезлонги/пляжные кресла платно Зонты от солнца платно Круглосуточная работа стойки регистрации отвечают с неохотой Лобби выглядит свежо, после ремонта. Деревянные диванчики и кресла, в европейском стиле. Все остальное огорожено металическими застилами и черными пленками. За те же деньги можно снять полноценный отель, а не его подобие. В этом отделе кроме кровати и душа, больше использовать нечего

El hotel, las habitaciones están agradables no hay servicio de piscina ni restaurante. En el hotel no hay jabón para bañ****.Hay que comer fuera del hotel en un rancho que pertenece al mismo, el servicio pésimo con muy mala calidad, las mesas sucias la demora en el servicio muy mala, la presentación de los platos y el orden del servicio horrible. Las tumbonas en las playas súper caras aún siendo huésped del hotel.

Meilleure expérience à Cuba. J'étais seul avec des limitation physique. Il y avait toujours un bras pour m'aider. Sans pitier mais que de l'humain. Super animation. Bonne bouffe. Toute une équipe. Le plus horrible et mauvais hôtel de tout ceux que je connais à CUBA . Heureusement on est resté qu'une heures de temps d'arranger un autre hôtel, ceci dis c'était la faute de TUI , qui pour cet hôtel ont un très mauvais intermédiaire , j'étais remboursé après , mais entretemps il fallait se débrouiller sur place car arriver un dimanche à Cuba et Tui pas disponible ....ZERRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO étoiles
