The manager of the restaurant was a cool guy. I wanted something to eat, it was quite late, and he accommodated me nicely. I remember I had a Wiener schnitzel thing with potatoes, salad and a beer. Most satisfying. I appreciated his service and tipped him for going out of his way.
It was cold in the room, and the staff said it was impossible to switch off the air conditioner. I asked how this could be, and the receptionist simply said there was nothing she could do. It was supposedly like that in every room. I was shocked, and all I could do was open the window to let the cold air out, bundle up and stay warm.

I was booked for two unpleasant nights in this joke of ahotel. It is not recommended – not even as a last possible option. Don’t go! The hotel is remotely located at the end of a bumpy road. Far away from the city centre. The rooms have not been maintained for years. They are filthy, and no wonder, as the daily cleaning of my room took less than a minute. The wallpaper is factually dropping off the walls and there is mould on the bathroom walls. The bed in my room was 40 cm high. The mattress was literally sitting on the floor. From the discotheque in the basement loud, noisy hard beat music kept me and my travel companions awake until 03:40 in the morning – this was a regular weekday, not even a Saturday night. In my room on the 5th floor, it was like having a beatbox hammering out miserable music in my room. The restaurant sucks. The food is lousy, and the waiters are incompetent and dismissive. For breakfast water and juice is for sale. Only tea and coffee are included. The bread they served for breakfast also had mould. Only after pointing out this health risk to the offended waiter did our group get fresh bread. Stay away from this terrible place!
