I booked this hotel through Hotels.com using my tesco reward points. So I only had to pay taxes. I stayed from Wed-Mon in the middle of July. I was sent the long way around to this hotel by google maps but when I said to the receptionist that I wouldn’t be able to walk that way at night she corrected me and it was only a short climb up the steps to the train station. I arrived at 11am and was just expecting to use the toilet and leave my luggage. But Estella said my room was ready and so I went straight up to the 9 floor. My room was right over the train lines but with the windows shut you did not hear them. A huge bed, lovely shower and a fridge. The bed was very comfortable. I needed to get to De Meern to see friends and Estella pointed me in the right direction for a lovely walk which took 60 minutes in the lovely countryside. Breakfast was great and and even though the hotel was full there were no queues for breakfast. Throughout my stay all staff were kind and polite. My only negatives and they are so small was when I asked for more regular coffee reception didn’t have again and the cup holder on the ice machine was nearly always empty. Overall I have had a excellent stay and I will be back.

The hotel is stunning! The first moment when I walked in I thought I was going to a beautiful restaurant. There's a smart locker for my luggage as I arrive very early in the morning.
Self-check-in is super easy, the staffs are super friendly. The pod room is super clean and quiet, the bed is MASSIVE and comfortable, love the smart control colour change light inside the pod. The storage area under the pod is very convenient and secure ( use the room key to open it). There are plenty of shower rooms and toilets so you don't need to line up for it. The water temperature and press are perfect, and towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and hairdryer are all available to use. I am super happy with the stay, sadly I didn't have the chance to try their food, but I am more than happy to come back to stay again and try the food and drink.
BTW, it's only a couple minutes' walk from the Utrecht train station, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops surrounded.

Convenient location, Utrecht Central Railway Station is about 6 minutes walk, the hotel's appearance is flat, the room facilities are not bad, the bathroom is quite big, the extra-large bed is about2.3 meters wide, and the bedding pillows are very comfortable. There are many restaurants and supermarkets at Central Station, and Tea Guys, a Chinese milk tea shop, finally got the best milk tea after coming to the Netherlands.

cheap, not clean, but staff polite and nice.I have tried this hotel for the location, but it shows lack of management. Dirty glasses from the evening still on the table at 9 oclock am. the fridge wasnt working in my room and nobody ever came to fix it, in 3 days i was there. Badly built from the start, impossible to wash ones face without wetting the floor, with the shelf covering half the basin.But the reception staff and the people at breakfast were smiling and trying to be helpful.

Very nice hotel! We had a small issue when you open a window the air starts to whistle under the door, so you cannot keep the window at night, only temporary.
One important thing - the PIZZA in the bar IS AMAZING! Must try.

Not only elevator construction but also next door parking house construction is disturbing your experience. If you turn left from elevator, you might think you walked thru portal to soviet union. Perhaphs some kind of temporary wall or curtain would be good there. Gym is really only a fitness room with few cardio equipment. Those were new and worked well, if you need such. Fitness room was well hidden, no signs until you reach the room (hint: 16th). Staff was friendly and easy to contact. Restaurant was good and always had few empty seats. But also breakfast area was hidden strange way into last end of restaurant. Cannot find any views at any direction, you can choose highway, industrial area, swamp or warehouse. Because of the construction works, I suggest delay visit until they finish that. But if only location matters, this is just fine.

We have stayed there twice and both times the service and food was the best you could ask for. All staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are always kept clean and we always feel saft staying there and the price is great. If you need a place to stay in Zeist NL. you need to look no farther than the Hotel Theater Figi ” it's the best” Van and Linda Scott

It is recommended to stay in this hotel when traveling by car

KKerry & NatashaNice, clean hotel in a great location for the train/tram and football stadium. Check in was quick and got a nice g&t welcome drink. Service was quick and the staff were friendly. The room was nice, but the view wasn’t the best. No kettle facilities in the room which is a must for me! However, they serve hot and cold drinks downstairs. The outdoor area on the canal was lovely in the sun! Would definitely stay again.

Very lovely hotel outskirts of Utrecht. Here for business. Room was spacious and modern with very large two person tub and separate shower. Hotel restaurant was excellent. Front desk staff very helpful. A very pleasant stay overall though Iit would have bern been nicer to be close to centercity.

The facilities and service quality are high. It is the only hotel that is surprisingly pleasant for this business trip. It is indeed 4 stars standard. It is also very convenient.

AAllen BrantlingerHotel DeBlend is located across from the headquarters of Douwe egberts in a semi-industrial area of town, but was very quiet and very convenient. The air conditioning is a terrible inconvenience just like it appears to be in every other European hotel except for the hunfelt. You are not actually in control of the temperature of your room it just makes it a little more cool for a little more warm. You don't have any real control. We found it got a bit warm at night. It is a primarily self-service hotel, but the instances where we required human assistance, the staff were very kind and accommodating. The kitchen is very convenient feature for anyone staying more than a few days. We highly recommend 2L DeBlend.

GGuest UserWij hebben een ontzettend fijn verblijf gehad in dit hotel. Personeel is allemaal bijzonder vriendelijk. De Queenkamer was knus, gezellig en erg schoon. Koffie en thee op de kamer en heerlijke luxe doucheproducten in grote flessen aan de muur (zelfs aan conditioner en bodylotion is gedacht!). Heerlijke comfortabele bedden en warme inrichting. Ontbijt vonden wij heerlijk; ook hierbij was aan alles gedacht en zelfs toen wij ons vergist hadden in de tijd werd alles uit de kast gehaald om het ons toch naar de zin te maken. Het hotel is inderdaad ietwat gehorig maar ik denk ook dat dat veelal met het sociaal gedrag van andere gasten te maken heeft. Als ik midden in de nacht naar mijn hotelkamer ga dan ben ik gewoon stil maar helaas is niet iedereen zo en dan wordt je inderdaad wakker ‘s nachts. Afstand tot centrum is super. Wij zouden zeker nog eens terug komen!

GGuest UserUtrecht is not cheap especially hotels near the centraal and old town,but Ibis which is locateda few minutes from centraal offer nice room and good price. Once you arrive at Utrecht Centraal, take bus number 5 from platform D. The hotel is just two stops from Centraal. As this hotel located beside a big road,then some rooms will experience traffic noise,but the noise insulation is quite good except we open the window for some fresh air. The lobby is nice, not too many sitting area, beside the lobby is a huge breakfast room. Surrounding hotel no restaurants or minimarket,so be prepared if you want to return hotel. The breakfast was very good and nice. Enjoy the hot meals and good coffee. Absolutely will return to stay at Ibis Utrecht, location and price make it all.
