No complaints at all. One of the best free breakfasts I've seen at an inexpensive hotel. Comfortable beds. I wish the pool had been advertised as outdoors, but had I not booked in a hurry I'm sure I would've figured it out. Can tell it's an older building but they have made it look nice

I really appreciated the front desk staff honoring my request to be on the top floor. The price was VERY reasonable and the hotel is nicely remodeled/updated. Our keys weren't working at check-in, but once they remade them, they were fine. Our door didn't latch firmly, so it felt a bit unsafe. The room was nicely decorated and clean (except for the bathroom mirror that was SO smeared I had to use a towel to try and clean it so we could see in it). Housekeeping should make sure to clear previous guest's alarms on the clock...we didn't appreciate the alarm going off at 6am on a morning we wanted to sleep in! This was our first time staying in Yakima and we didn't know there was such a huge homeless population that are all up and down the street this hotel is on. That was a bit unnerving, but we never encountered a problem.

This is a wonderfully refurbished older hotel, up to standards of a much more expensive alternative. I would say it's a relatively recent renovation and much more than cosmetic. Everything about it was tastefully and well done. I've stayed in much more expensive hotels that were far below the standard this one exhibited. Overall, a great stay.

My son and I stopped to sleep and eat breakfast while on the road. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast filling.

The room could have been cleaner when we checked in and extra trash bags would have been nice since housekeeping didn’t come and clean during our stay.

So the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. The location is sketchy at best with a LOT of homeless camps around. Definitely not in a "good" part of town.
That said, that wasnt even our main issue. The walls are so incredibly thin. We could hear everyone around us as clear as if we were in the same room. Lots of talking, bathroom noises, snoring. It was honestly pretty hard to sleep. It didnt help that the people above us were...especially energentic...at night. That was fun to explain to my 14 year old. While the facility itself is ok, we probably wouldnt stay here again or recommend it.

Affordable for the amazing quality of the room! New furnishings and very comfortable bedding. Just forgot to wear ear plugs. The only con was you can hear people warming up their diesel truck at 4am. Breakfast amenities were fantastic! You can take stuff to go. We were there for my son’s hockey tournament. They even had almond milk! I’m only staying here when we’re in Yakima.
