The Parador is outstanding for architecture, history and position in the stunning Renaissance town of Ubeda. We toured the streets which were blissfully quiet and lacking traffic. We LOVED the Synagogue del Asia, an absolute gem.

Very clean hotel and room - restaraunt was good. Loction is great! Great staff! Parking is the only issue but free public parkiing is very near the Paradore. Good location to walk to other various sites and stores.

I think the staff here are cold. Not approachable or helpful. Other than that, the parador is a lovely place to stay and Ubeda is a pretty town. Everything is closed on Monday so plan your stay accordingly.

Superb location, and generally an excellent parador. The staff were helpful, and the dining very good. Strongly recommend, with one caveat - access is difficult. There is no parking close by, and the recommended indoor car park is some distance away and poorly signed (both by road, and for pedestrian access). The parador information given prior to arrival was poor. We made the mistake of parking the car, then walking to the Parador - it nearly killed us!!! Time limited loading/unloading access is possible, but you still have to walk either from or to the car park. If you can manage this, then this is an excellent choice.

Beautiful, relaxing stay in an ancient palace, with perfect service and a small private garden. Unforgettable. The location in the city is also really good. Walking distance to everything. Breakfast was great as well

If you have not yet visited this town, please get away from the coast of Andalucia and visit Ubeda. You will not regret it. We had a great value for money deal and we really loved it. The staff were very welcoming and guided us to the most important places to visit in a day. Excellent!

Hotel has a great central location in Ubeda old town. Plentiful free parking is available a short distance away and cars can be brought to the hotel for luggage drop off only. Room was large and comfortable and staff were all very welcoming. Breakfast was excellent, although didn't eat at the hotel in the evening. Old town is great to wander in, as is nearby town of Baeza and both have great views of the surrounding countryside. Definitely a great place to stay with interesting surroundings.

What a nice surprise Ubeda and this hotel was. Such a beautiful small town with an outstanding Renaissance period town center. The hotel is in a restored villa next to the cathedral. While old, the hotel is nicely restored with everything you would need. Rooms are very large although views from rooms are less than outstanding as many face small interior courts. Good restaurant and villa has a large center court. Walking distance to everything in town.

I found the staff to be quite unfriendly and room amenities extremely sub standard. Their is no air conditioning so you have to open the window and church bells right out side ring LOUDLY every 15 minutes 24/7. The bed is as hard as a plank and not attached to the headboard and as such, as the floor is tile, you can’t sit up in bed without sliding across the floor. Also, the windows look right on top of another roof and we hear all the noise from the next door family. We have been staying in Pousadas and Paradors throughout Portugal and Spain and this is my first complaint.
