Cosmopolitan Hotel & Spa

My name is Maria Zabunova and in August 2023 I was a guest in this wonderful hotel for the fifth time. Every time we are satisfied, and this year even more so with the kind attitude towards the guests, the cleanliness (every day the rooms are cleaned) and the very tasty food. The pool is clean. There is also live music that does not disturb the guests of the hotel. The beach is very close. An ideal place for a family vacation

This hotel ruined my trip,room was very small and not cleaned well The staff were very rude and went through my stuff ,The towels were dirty and were obiviously not washed.My room was never cleaned correctly at The start, only once I started complaing to The manager did they start to clean at a acceptable level

Simply put - a fantastic holiday experience! The hotel is very clean, the staff is amazing - always polite and smiling, ready to help when needed. I loved the back yard with the pool and with lots of room for my child to play. The food is delicious - we had a buffet breakfast and buffet dinner - always fresh, with a variety of foods to choose from. Also, I loved that the hotel is not in the city centre but on the outskirts (~1.5km away) which made my vacation an actual relaxing holiday. The beach is also quite close (~200m away).

We were really pleased with our week' s stay at Hotel Cosmopolitan. Despite arriving past midnight, we were met with a warm and genuine welcome and the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful throughout our stay. We were pleased to have found a hotel ( and area) where Greeks themselves holiday- in fact I think we were the only British couple at the hotel at the time. The hotel has a lovely design to it , it stands out as being something special in the area and lives up to its pictures, we enjoyed eating on the balcony each morning and evening. The hotel is kept very clean, the pool was never crowded, the food was good and plentiful. The hotel is set back from the sandy beach, a 5-10 minute walk away, but we liked that our hotel was in a quieter part of town and the short walk was not a problem for us. The hotel is close to a cross-roads ( which could do with some more clarity on right of way!) but that said, we didn't find it too noisy. The town itself (an 8 min walk away) is nice, lively but not clubby. Tavernas, souvenir shops , bars, hotels- yes, but a family atmosphere. Unfortunately a lot of fur shops too which did not impress us. They definitely need to go. We felt the hotel was good value and we enjoyed our week relaxing and also visiting Thessaloniki ( by train) and going on a trip to Mount Olympus. Our only negative comment was that after 3 days it might be an idea to change the background music CD ..but they did so straight away, so all good. If you want to see a more authentic Greece than the well known ' resorts' I would highly recommend this hotel. The warmth of the staff will always be remembered by us in particular.

Rooms, small but adequate. The cleaning service was terrible, the first days they only mopped and changed the baskets and rugs, the bathroom was dirty, the tables were dirty, they didn't replenish the soap. We didn't have hot water in our room for two days. We were told to stand in the shower and wait for it to work. Appalling behavior at the reception. Not interested.. Today they didn't clean the room at all, they don't have people. So we have smelly bins and sand everywhere. At the reception? Again no interest. Today the water also stopped working completely, we wanted to take a shower, without success. The lady at the reception did not believe that the water was not running and was not interested in solving it. She rolled her eyes at us. We complained to the representative, she called the lady at the reception and told her that the water was not going anywhere. She lied. The other floors had water. This is appalling behavior, don't come here! Never again. Waste of money.

Alles in allem eine gute Erfahrung. Leider klappte die Klimaanlage im Zimmer nicht und konnte auch nicht während unseres Aufenthaltes in Gang gebracht werden.

Ho soggiornato in questo albergo per 10 giorni.Abbiamo fatto mezza pensione per comodità. La cena scarsissima sempre le stesse cose senza mai cambiare una sera. La colazione buona e abbondante. Lo consiglio solo con pernottamento e prima colazione.

Выбор отеля в Катерини был для меня сложным, пытался чтобы было хорошо по цена/качество, да и важны были некоторые опции. Хотелось недалеко от моря, но не оч шумно, чтобы были удобства для детей, бассейн, возможность полупансионного питания. Все это нашлось в Cosmopolitan. Само место Паралия Катерини - очень неплохое, предгорье горы Олимп, да и море хорошее. Но есть и минус, поселение небольшое и в сезон очень плотно заселенное. Ну вот реально, вечером летом на улице весьма тесно. Такая же ситуация на пляжах днем. Какой вывод? Нужно брать отель чуть на краю деревушки, чтобы было нешумно, до пляжа рукой подать, да и сам пляж будет не столь забитый. К тому же в центре Паралии отели в основном малозвездные и с крайне небольшой площадью, В этом плане Cosmopolitan, находящийся на окраине, имеет преимущество - хороший бассейн, территория, детская площадочка. До моря метров 500 по прямой, а самый ближайший к отелю Beach bar как раз неплох по площади, да и по колмчеству лежаков. Ни разу не было, чтоб не хватило мест (это реальная проблема в Паралии в других пляжных барах). Принцип оплаты пляжа в Греции одинаков, занимаешь место, оплачиваешь коктейль, и шезлонг - ваш на весь день. Чисто отельных пляжей мало. Они встречаются в основном в отелях, которые ну совсем вне населенных пунктов. Да и не нужно гоняться за этой опцией, купить лимонад или пиво раз в день, получив место под зонтиком, может позволить любой отдыхающий. До центра городка, до Liddle и автостанции пешком минут 10-15. Ну это все о расположении, мне оно показалось оптимальным. Теперь об отеле. Не берите самые дешевые номера, которые расположены в цокольном этаже - там будет некомфортно. Соседство с зоной спа дает сырость, темноту и неуют. Переночевав, мы сразу попросили поменять на нормальный номер. Что собственно нам сделали (за доплату). Персонал достаточно приветлив, стараются быть очень вежливыми, но не всегда помогают (ну был эпизод, наверное, человеческий фактор). Заказывал трансфер из аэропорта Салоников заранее, вышло дешевле чем на такси. Потом просил рецепшн, чтобы позвали того же таксиста, чтобы повозил по окрестностям. Тоже взял цену дешевле, чем по счетчику. В СПА центре неплохое качество услуг, достаточно недорого и профессионально. Питание довольно таки разнообразное. Брали полупансион, конечно блюда повторялись, но в целом выбор был, и неплохой. Ну разве что фрукты были, скажем так, не премиум класса. Вывод: отель полностью оправдал ожидания. Недостатки были, но они мизерные. В целом - положительные эмоции. Кстати, и жене с дочкой тоже все понравилось.
