特急電車が少ない、車では不便など交通面での不満はありますが、ホテルスタッフとサービスは言う事なしの満点です。城崎温泉のホテルの中でも安いので時間がある時にまた宿泊したいです。

After studying Japanese for the last year, I was really excited to visit Japan and our travel agency had wanted us to try an Onsen, however, despite doing our best to respect the culture and locals, the front staff made it clear they didn’t care for foreigners before we even had a chance to make an impression. The checkout staff ended up being much nicer, but we were so uncomfortable here, we checked out as early as we could. Even when getting breakfast in the lines, we were both shoved by locals staying here. We never had this experience other places, especially when it’s a line that naturally moves. This was our last night of a 10 day trip, and it left a pretty awful feeling behind for us. We wouldn’t recommend this location. In general, if you like foods like raw crab meat, you’ll enjoy the kaiseki meal. We found out it wasn’t something we loved, however, this is a preference and wasn’t reflected in the review. The accommodation is a bit older, but okay.

Positive: Very kind and helpful staff Very nice and comfortable yukata (suggest to buy) Nice rooms Comfortable futon beds Big authentic rooms Lovely welcome drink Very nice view from the bar Negative Too big hotel for an authentic feeling Food😞even the service of dinner was really nice, it was not good (Im am sure it was fresh but it tasted not fresh at all). We were sick for 2 days😒 Not glutenfree bread and only cow milk available Neutral Rather Japanese breakfast is available and no good continental choice
