De geschiedenis van de locatie, de dramatische schoonheid van de omgeving hebben bijgedragen aan mijn ervaring. Mijn kamer was comfortabel en zowel de pub eten en ontbijt waren goed. Ik zou zeker weer daar blijven als ik in de buurt ben."

Het charme en de vriendelijkheid van de eigenaars is onmetelijk. We zouden daar graag eten, omdat de curry vooral sublime was... een wandeling rond de tuin was een genoegen, net als het vogelsong luisterde."

Kleine extras maakten een verschil, zoals elke dag koek!! Ons huis is schoon en is genoeg warm water. Neil kent het gebied goed en aanbevolen pubs, schoonheidsspots, enz. We zullen teruggaan!!! "The most idyllic, peaceful location just perfect for an away from it all stay. Made even better, by wonderful hosts Jeremy and Linda. We were looking for a tranquil break and somewhere we could leave our motorcycle. After a phone with Jeremy, he put our minds at rest that we could leave it in the garage (barn). We stayed in The Honeysuckle 1 bed cottage for 3 nights. The cottages are immaculate in their cleanliness and perfectly equipped. Downe Cottages are a real credit to them. They have been created so beautifully and the surroundings of the farm make you not want to leave. Following suggestions from Jeremy, we visited Hartland Quay and were lucky enough to have an evening meal, whilst enjoying an amazing sunset. When you find a gem like this, you almost don’t want to leave a review, you want to keep it a hidden secret, but it’s too good not to share. Thank you both for a wonderful stay and we hope to see you again."

"We had a lovely family stay here over the Christmas season. The cottage is spotless and the owners very kind and helpful. Would highly recommend if you want a away from it all holiday. Excellent near by pubs are The Village Inn (3 miles a nice walk if you like that) and the Rydon Inn about a 15 minute drive. Both had amazing food and service."
